I recently got to Tier 3 (yay) and want to know whether I should try to keep upgrading my 4* equipment or switch to different alchemy lines.

I have:
Ash Tail Coat
Ash Tail Cap
Ascended Caliber
Mighty Defender
Spine Shower

Should I keep upgrading this? Or switch lines?

Also, I have an Autogun that I kind of like, but for some reason it keeps nagging me that it isn't too good. Could somebody please help me decide whether to upgrade or switch in terms of guns too?

I'm currently wearing Ash Tail Armor and wondering what kind of armor I should be getting for 5*. My weapons are all swords and they are: Nightblade, Dark Snarble Sword, and Avenger. Yes, I do use all three for counter in different situations. Now I know skolver is damage and vog is attack speed but I just can't decide which would do better and which would help my sword only play style. I'm planning to use skolver for the damage but I've seen a lot of vog for the speed addition. I do like to hit and run too but still. SO here's were you help me, which one would YOU prefer?

say i have a weapon with very high CTR
say i have a armor with maximum CTR

do they combine together?
is there a limit on how high a CTR can go? wiki stops at Maximum so is the "very high CTR" a waste?

Alright, so I've run into a problem that I need remedied. Currently I'm looking to hammer down my plans for weapon progression, and have been using a Winmillion with much frustration lately. So I'm fixing the problem by investing in more useful swords.

Now, my current issue, is that I have to decide between a few lines... namely Brandish (Combuster or Glacius and Acheron) or Sealed Sword (Divine Avenger and Gran Faust) and Leviathan or Cold Iron Vanquisher.

I finally got a Sealed Sword and I decided to upgrade it into a Faust cuze i really like it. Therefore, I purchased a Faust Recipe, learnt the recipe and collected all the mats.

However, I just noticed that it causes curses on the user (that's me) and I would need quite a lot of curse resistance to avoid the curse.

It's too late to switch to Avenger now, so my questions are:

Am I screwed with my Faust since I can't use the charge attack? and is it a lot of trouble to collect all the curse-resistance armors?

Well ive been wondering if its worth it to get a full set at 5* or is it better to mix thigns up to balance out your defences?

Currently im wearing Sunset Set, and im planning on upgrading to Nameless Set once i get lvl 10. I am planing on going heavy into gunning, but ive noticed that my set doesnt give me much shadow protection, and fiends seem to rip me up. I use an Ironmight Shield.

So would mixing in some Divine Set be better or maybe going pure Divine? Whats you guys' thoughts?

I recently upgraded to Vog Cub, and noticed something strange when fighting Jelly Cubes with my faust.

With 0-1 pieces of Vog Cub gear, here's how the swing sequence would go when using the 2-swing combo:

I swing once (jelly knocked back) -> Jelly Recovers and starts to move toward me -> I swing twice (jelly knocked back)

With 2 pieces of Vog Cub (Equivalent to +4 IAS):
I swing once (jelly knocked back) -> Jelly Recovers -> I swing twice (miss - jelly out of range) -> Jelly hits me

Has anyone else had this problem?

As we all know the Sentenza is pretty useless in the clockworks but I was wondering how it would do in PvP as many people do not have shadow and pierce resist armor and shields+fast fire rate. I was thinking about getting this gun specifically for this reason, but I'm not sure how it will hold up. State your opinions

So, I've been playing this game for a while, and I have my five star stuff and some extra stuff and I'm trying to decide what to do next. This is what I have now:

Azure Guardian Set
Leviathan
Valiance
Aegis
Heater Shield
Swiftstrike Buckler
Vog Cub Coat
Super blast bomb

I also have recipes for all of the 2* elemental bombs and all of the alchemers through 3*, but I've never really made or used any of them. I've been using levi/valiance pretty much the whole time--no real experience with bombs or status effects.

I recently bought the Angelic set for my character thinking it would do some damage, but apparently I was told I'm using the wrong items for my sword and shield to do decent damage? (I get beat down a lot in tier 2). Are there a set combo for the Angelic set or a special type of weapon I should be using?

I currently use the Tempered Calibur and Drake Scale shield. What should they be for best results?
