Tripwire bombs?

Probably won't get implemented, just putting it out there.

First bomb set: Sets a bomb that does absolutely nothing.
Second bomb set: Red laser beam appears between the two bombs on the ground
Third bomb set: Red laser beam connects all three bombs, forming triangle.
Fourth bomb set: No bomb is set, but previous three bombs detonate.
If an enemy walks into one of the laser lines before the fourth bomb is set, all bombs detonate.

-Tripwire bombs don't have detonation times. They are immediately set and detonate immediate after the fourth bomb (or when something trips it).
-The explosion is like the blast bomb line except slightly smaller in range.
-Bomb that don't detonate disappear after N seconds, where N is some reasonable number (5?)

Cool but no

Disappearing time too short. Too spammable in LD (imagine a team of recons just covering your spawn gate). If shard bombs are too complicated for most players in SK then this will give them headaches.

Cool idea but the mechanics would require some serious programming not to mention the fact that this idea of "traps" does not fall into the average player's "must instakill everything fast" mentality
