The new revival system was a great thing for this game. It made the game far less reliant on its premium currency, energy. Emergency Revives were also a wonderful addition, effectively giving you two lives before needing to spend your highly limited Sparks.
However, with this change, one of my favorite things about the old system was lost; reviving other players with health. The ability to revive other players made cooperation and coordination key in the game's tougher levels, something I really miss. That being said, I understand fully that health revives would not fit very well alongside the current system, it would make the game far too easy, since every player gets one free revive anyways.
Rather than bringing back health revives, I propose being able to sacrifice an emergency revive to bring back a downed player. It wouldn't be quite as dynamic as health revives, but it would make interaction between players a little more important than it is now. Anybody else have any thoughts on this?
