Ive been thinking about this for some time and i think its about time i give it a shot and see what you guys in the forums think about it,

so ive been a great fan of the cutter sword line since i put my hands on it for the first time because of its awesome look and outstanding speed but sadly later on i would realize why people wouldnt use them, anyway held onto my hipster weapon until i had enough almire tokens to get FOV, which was the only way i could let my dread venom striker go and thought this emotion rollercoter i noted that there was a shadow dealing variation of this sword wielded
by the Void Thwacker and the Phantom monsters so basically my idea was, make it avaliable for crafting to knights for a new possibility simple as that, another shadow dealing sword with raw potential and posibilities for you to experiment with

and about the FOV my main issue was the fact that having to grind FSC about 14 times to be able to get it, which as many of us know isnt that difficult but arguable slower to get that the so popular brandish line deals less damage than combuster and being able to set you on fire with the charge attack, BELIEVE ME when i say i understand why you made this decision cause if anyone could get an OP 5 star weapon by just grinding without the need of orbs there would be a serious disturbance in the force so what i suggest its to give it a little bit more of love to this weapon to promote the variety and give more viable options for knights to build their arsenal because lets face it, we could have a million of cool swords to choose from be we would only choose the ones that are better for keeping us alive, i dont know give it the same dmg than the combuster keep the fire penalty and rise the tokens price, even remove it from our inventories if its necesary but please dont allow the brandish and avenger line to monopolize the market,

best wishes from Colombia and thanks for reading

Question: Would the Phantom's

Question: Would the Phantom's Blade swing in a fashion similar to the FOV or cutter.

Statement: FOV is a good sword, Fire chance on every hit (combuster only gets that on the charge), and a Charge attack that Annihilates turret style monsters, Lumbers, Trojans, and Deadnaughts. With enough ASI the charge gets 4 hits instead of three. In stratum 5 one of the charge attacks hits can deal up to 454 damage, this is a maximum of almost 2000 damage in one hit (on effective monsters), plus it leaves a strong fire.

thanks for the info

about the phantom blade i havent thought of the dmg or speed, but what i did think of was that it should inflict curse since the only actual weapon that inflicts curse its the Faust

and abot the FOV ive been over it for a long time and never ever realised that the combuster gang could only inflict status on charge so the dmg penalty now seems more than fair, actually i think for inexperienced knights things like this are dissmised, i asked in LD why didnt people like FOV and team mates said "i dont want to randomly catch fire while fighting" this surpriced me as i had alrady FOV for some time and it has never put me on fire just by attacking normally,

so thanks alot for the information

Only the charge of FOV can

Only the charge of FOV can light you, never trust the word of anyone who has never used/owned a FOV, most likely that LD player only saw it in the token shop and made assumptions.

With any fire retardant armor and a Fire resistance High pet perk you only get inflicted with 4 seconds of fire and the damage is minimal, unlike combuster charges you must thoughtfully use this charge to get the most damage and at the safest time.

Seraphynx Heart Attack is a lifesaver, drop it before you go in, save up your remedy capsules and health capsules and heal yourself when you catch on fire or need hp.

I thought you meant Field of View

FoV is an incredibly fun and satisfying weapon to use the charge attack of, except for the fact that it's impossible to prevent setting yourself on fire. Other than that the basic attacks are lackluster and slow at best, and even though it deals fire damage it is still out-dps'd by the S-Class swords (Acheron, ele brandishes, toothpicks, GF/DA). I would like to see:

-either removing the chance to self-inclift fire or changing the self-fire to Moderate so it can be prevented with enough resistance
-increasing the swing speed
-changing the model of it and the Void Thwacker and Phantoms' swords so they don't misleadingly look like a Cutter-line sword when they in fact behave entirely differently
-Increase the chance of dealing fire on hit

I think that would bring it about up to speed with the other good swords, or at least enough for people to take enough notice of it to invent ways to use it effectively.

As for a Knight-used Curse/Shadow FoV, I agree that there need to be more shadow swords but Curse is an incredibly powerful status and OOO needs to come up with something other to add to shadow weapons than Curse and Poison. A Curse FoV would be too good, imo.

I think changing the model would suffice the most, especially with the FoV. I seriously doubt any kind of fang would have such a jagged appearance. Probably something like a Scimitar would work better since fangs are usually depicted as sharp curved teeth rather than sharp straight teeth.

Personally, I'd like to see an Ice Shadow weapon or a Poison Elemental weapon. Mostly to mix things up. In a game with sentient slime creatures, possibly living planets, and alien knights that can hold giant swords in one hand, I think that freezing shadows would be quite plausible.
