Breeze Cutter
-3* Sword
-Basic Attack: Same as a Cutter. Has a slight 'wind' animation for every swipe.
-Charge Attack: Player spins with the blade forward 3 blocks. Sucks in nearby enemies (suction power is the same as Electron/Graviton Charge bomb). Dust are found in 'breeze' tornado (white with a hint of light gray) animation.
-Deals: Normal damage
-Design: Has a 'breezy' aura. Blade is colored white with light gray stripes.
-Description: "Perfect for cutting down monsters and cooling yourself on a hot day."

Gale Sabre
-4* Sword
-Basic Attack: Same as a Cutter. Has a more visible 'wind' animation and leaves flying for every swipe.
-Charge Attack: Player spins with the blade forward 5 blocks. Sucks in enemies (suction power is the same as Electron/Graviton Bomb). Leaves and dust are found in 'gale' tornado (light gray with a hint of ash gray) animation.
-Deals: Normal Damage
-Design: Has a slightly faster, grayer 'breezy' aura. Blade is colored light gray with ash gray stripes.
-Description: "Every swipe makes you feel like flying. Don't try it though, someone did and fell to their doom."

Tornado Ripper
-5* Sword
-Basic Attack: Same as a Cutter. Has a very visible 'wind' animation along with leaves and dust flying for every swipe.
-Charge Attack: Player spins with the blade forward 7 blocks. Sucks in enemies (suction power is the same as Electron/Graviton Vortex). Leaves, rocks , and (occasionally) a random jelly is found in tornado (ash gray with a hint of black) animation.
-Deals: Normal Damage
-Design: Has a faster, darker, more fiercer 'breezy' aura. Blade is colored ash gray with black stripes.
-Description: "Harness the power of the mighty tornados in your hands! Just be careful of that jelly that got caught up in its power."

Sorry if this displeases you. This just popped in my head like a groundhog coming out of its little tunnel.

P.S.

I'm not sure how much damage charge attack and basic attack should deal. I'm so nub at suggesting D:

Nice prospect.

But where are the 2 and 4* variants. Can't craft from 1 to 3 to 5*.

In general 5 star items are

In general 5 star items are not crafted up from 1 star items.

Rather than a full alchemy list have it's alchemy path similar to the vortex bombs which start at 3 stars.

Why not just make this an alternate crafting line of the standard Cutter, then?

Ummm I think 7 blocks is farther than what a Sudaruska can do...

You would have to give the

You would have to give the charge a high flinch rate and as many hits as a regular cutter charge, this would make it safer to use and would then be a less suicidal weapon than FOV, (considering the vortex would pull in enemies).

Of course the larger enemies would be flinch resistant (lumbers, etc)

I like this idea, the idea of a vortex sword sounds good, but I don't get how you'd make it work. Vortex bombs work in the way that you can see its area of effect, but with this sword, how would you see it?

I'd think if the sword instead of dragging enemies closer, it created a 'twister' on its charge, that could hurt enemies that get to close, and bash them away.

Cookie for you :3

@Sir
Tornado animation would indicate its radius whilst the wind surrounding the tornado will tell of its area of effect. Orsomethinglikethatidunnokjsbdbasjd

@ Sir-Shadow-striker

Flourish charges don't come with an indicator of how they will land, or some little white line of attack that you can aim, but eventually you learn when, where, and how to use them (unlike brandishes which work in any situation almost).

This would be one of those weapons you learn to use ad how not to use.

Hmm

Seems pretty neat. Would be awesome if you were inflicted with a status before/during the charge attack if it would make your tornado reflect that status.
I mean, I can see chaos people using FoV to light themselves on fire then go to this weapon to make a firestorm of pain. Bonus points if you're cured of the status while doing the attack, but are reinflicted with it once the attack ends(to make shock tornadoes viable).

And for the charge, perhaps it could act like a graviton but mobile? So at the end of the attack the enemies are knocked back? If the tornado doesn't have a status, then it could have a good chance of inflicting moderate stun, otherwise it would inflict the status. Perhaps has a slight chance of inflicting the player with the status too? Would make a "chaos clone" not as effective using this weapon with multiple statuses around.
