I think they should update the prestige mission's
Plus I believe they should give a reward out for
Every 100k 200k 300k reached the farther you go the better the prize even a a badge you could wear
Prestige
Shush Bob, lest you want to turn this into another discussion on OOO's transparency.
I would really like to see a Bazaar shop that sold items to players that were locked if they didn't have enough presitge.
^ That's exactly what I've been hoping for. :O
Lionheart Honor Blade isn't a reward for having a high rank. It was a reward for logging on at a specific time having a specific rank. In other words: a fancy relic, akin to artifacts. And these items can't be traded or upgraded, making them useful only for showing off. Same as prestige, basically.
100k, 200k, 300k, 100000000000k prestiges should all reward you with a badge. You earned it.
Not that I ever will grow beyond my 10k prestige, there's literary no point in that.
PS: one can make 100 badges in a single work day, if they want to. And distribute to all prestigious players with the next update.
I want so many badges that I could crush a Boy Scout with them.
It would seem that the original concept behind prestige was for it to be what the knight sought after, like a driving force for the player to work towards achieving. I feel as if it is safe to say that it has failed in this regard, as having a number and later badge by your name proves very little about what you've actually accomplished and is a rather silly indicator of your ability. The badges are something mildly prestigious but still prestigious though, I suppose. If anything I'd like to see them go back to this concept and either remove it or roll with it.
If they do choose to keep it, allowing for knights to increase prestige in a less time dependent manner like via playing non-mission levels, would make the system far more accurate of your time spent in game, while making prestige ramp up exponentially across more difficult content would make it a far more accurate measure of your ability. Costume rewards for prestige, which may come in the form of shops requiring REASONABLE non-50 dollar sums of energy or crowns along with a certain prestige level, would also be appreciated.
Still yet a better solution would be to utilize prestige to improve the difficulty settings. Lock elite mode until the knight has a certain amount of prestige relative to the level being played, make advanced equal to the current elite, then make elite mode exponentially harder, as a sort of "shadow lair variant" of the normal game. Rewards and difficulty on the new elite mode would ramp up logarithmically (i.e. 1000 prestige = 1 difficulty, 10000 prestige = 2, 100000 prestige = 3...) with the amount of prestige a given knight has, but the distribution of rarities, materials and crowns would remain the same; instead, the new elite mode would give out a higher drop rate for items (darkfang, book of dark rituals, winterfest trinket, new reskins that are in boxes) and a new line of tokens that buy some form of bound costume armor.
But since it is in fact easy to make small pixel art badges and SEGA likely has much larger fish to fry, why don't we make some community ones for SEGA to just sort of quickly add into the game?
You know those new weapons in prize boxes? Mixmaster n' stuff?
I'd like to be able to buy recipes for a crafting line of those if I have hit a certain prestige rank. It would be neat to have new toys to play with if you invest time into a game rather than just money. Something like a "hall of heroes" but for special "advanced" gear.
As I see it, you could have other unique things to play with. The game right now is putting some new gear behind a paywall plus relying on RNG to even get the item. Having the item be acquirable through other means, even if it takes a bloody long time, would encourage players to log in every day and play the game. By the end of all the missions, you will have a badge for the first rank, so they can hook you with more content and extend the life of the game artificially.
Say, I could make a suggestion thread out of this.
I personally like the idea about it opening other mission's
After so mutch prestige it ulocks another set of mission's to further along
The story line
Well, I'd like to see my prestige doing something, but unlocking story missions is a no no. The story needs to be easy to access, not 'grind prestige every day for a year to unlock a new line of missions'. Unlocking extra prestige missions would be better.
The suggestions for prestige to allow a new vendor to give unique items would be good (say you get 100k prestige, you get access to a reskin vendor!) all items crafted or bought could be bound permanently, so people can't trade these prestigious weapons.
Sure. And when badges were introduced, Three Rings said that they were just the first of a series of rewards for prestige. To my knowledge, there have been no others. (There have been rewards for rank, such as Lionheart Honor Blade.)
On the other hand, perhaps we can agree that this is a low-priority task compared to, say, introducing new weapons or bosses.
