"Attack on Haven" Mission

There are three ideas that will be bashed as soon as a put it up.

I. Haven Ambush

Once every half a week or so there will be an attack on haven "Special Mission" which should fill this gap of less content. Its a mission that has 4 levels:

1. The Arcade
2. The Bazaar
3. Garrison
4. Haven/Auction House

It will be filled with a WHOPPING 6 PLAYERS and it wont be easy. Each level has 5 five waves that contain tons of monster invading from the corners of haven.

The first level they will swarm from over the gate and break through the elevators. Your jobs is to protect Mysterious Alchemy Station, the Crystal Research Center, and the Kromo Trading Station. (Undead Family/Fiend Family [Besides Greaver&Devilite]) Remi and Walkon will help this level.

Second, at the Bazaar, monsters will try to attack the Vendors, Smiths, and the Salon. You must protect them at all costs, this level they will jump off the tents from the street roofs and the grass beyond our reach when we go down the steps near Brinks. (Greaver/Devilite [Because these guys usually have there own levels anyway]) Sylvin, Archilus, and Zebulon will help with this level.

The Last Level Before the Boss is Garrison where you protect the Lab, Guildhalls, and The Hall of Hero's which is supposed to trick you into thinking its isn't that bad. (Beast Family/Construct Family/Slime Family) Echo and Izola will help this level.

The Last Level is were you find the Bandits who has captured 5 Knights, (Baruss, Biscotti, Bechamel, Brinks, and Wegner) where you heave to defeat every race of monsters near the Auction House including a a new type of gremlin that are know for speed and quick attacks, Bandits" Jorin and Daxin will help with the last level level. (I chose them because the are Gunner and Cobalt the most basic kind of weapons the deals results to mostly anything

You cannot join and the monster count of each wave are as follows.

Wave I: 50
Wave II: 75
Wave III: 100
Wave IV: 125
Wave V: 150

Failure to Protect something and someone who died in your party will be taken hostage as well. (They will be spectators until the end)

Ok, so, bust my chops. This took me almost a day and a half.

i like it o.o

BUT the lab in garrison was already under attack so there should be a wall around it o.o but i like the idea of being a hostage, time to annoy my friends about HOW DARE YOU NOT SAVE MEEEEEEEEEEE xD

Hmm...

We've had other ideas for Haven defense before, and these aren't the greatest additions.

For one, don't separate monster families from their monsters. Devilites and grievers do not usually have their own levels in any way that is special.

Also the difficulty balance is a bit off. You'll notice in all story missions, save for "the gauntlet", there are a direct order to enemy types: piercing first, elemental next, shadow last. Follow that order, then throw all of them at us in the final battle.

Don't make players be taken hostage if they go down. We have sparks of life for a reason. If you mean the NPC knights, that could make sense, but at least have us able to save them before they are dragged off.

In all honesty this variant of saving Haven isn't bad, it's just not all that great either. Technically we do save Haven in the roarmulus twins storyline, but I know that players want to fight things in Haven.

Good idea but needs a different story

The Spiral Order is a freakin army! Currently they can keep the Borders of Haven easily protected from outright attacks (not espionage though).

Protect the vendors? Bechamel has Scissor blades and Brinks has a veritable arsenal at his fingertips. Not to mention Bosco has been tinkering on that Mecha knight kit for years, odds are it's probably nuclear powered at the moment.

The auction house? considering the number of Fully ranked 50k prestige knights that hang around that place plus the gear that is in the AH I doubt there would be trouble.

The lab? It's right next to the guild halls, home to some of the most powerful knights on cradle.

And there is already about a dozen knights in the HOH.

As for the Arcade I'm pretty sure the guild Promise would go to any lengths to keep King Krogmo alive. (lol)

If we were to implement such a gamemode I think it would have to be under EXTREME circumstances, the biggest problem with your idea is the population of armed knights in Haven; but suppose the populace isn't there.

Suppose the Spiral Order wants to move base to somewhere else on Cradle (like i said extreme conditions) and still want to keep Haven open as a training ground for young knights.

The story would be basically that you and a small team of Vanguards that had lead the expedition to New Haven are needed to return to Old Haven to re-secure the boders, protect the new arrivals, and repel the monsters.

This way you would be protecting those who can't protect themselves, and it would still make sense in the story.

I like your idea on that now in the order of piercing, elemental, then shadow and the part about NPC Knights. But the fact that in adding 2 extra players maybe one could get captured at random wave of the 4th level

Yeah, that's why there are Bandits they kidnapped them with stealth like that little invisible gremlin in Winterfest with the duel saws that everyone hates, like them but they're stealing from the Auction House Bech gets Sleep Potion? There are many different scenarios like this, a lot guild Halls are Empty, Unused, or in Default. Plus there kidnapped in the middle of the day when almost no one is on.

Maybe we could add an Easter Egg every 1-50 Missions and youll see the the Promise guild master die defending the Kromo Machine and then being dragged off.

I'll add more later...

You have to go to the TF2 community for that stuff, their game is open source and even comes with an animating program (unlike SK)
