Spiral Knights to be revived

I suggest for the game to be revived with new suggestions and I intend for this thread to be used for those suggestions... now I'll start with some.

1. more promotions higher than vanguard
2. daily campaign missions
3. add tier 4
4. Slight, by 20% orb drop rate
5. a jumping and perhaps punching action
6. Spiral Knights need more new large monsters
7. more mini games
8. More forms of battle sprites
9. one thing, isn't Spiral Knights based on medieval times? If so, the duty of knights was to fight dragons, why not place a dragon as a boss in the game?
10. instead of giving out costumes and accessories, give out some events to earn weapons and gear ex: Lionheart event...

The rest of the suggestions are up to you, only you can make this thread be heard to Three Rings and Sega (If you really want Spiral Knights to revive.)

1 and 3 need to be

1 and 3 need to be implemented at the same time. I guess, technicalky tier 4 would be exploring the core?

2. Like, daily story missions? This is quite literally impossible. Even if OOO were a company of 700+ people, it would still prove a daunting task. It also screw over new players, they'd be missing out on huge chunks of story.

4. This could be implemented. But probably only in the Shadow Lairs or DLC mission only, to keep things (kinda) fair.

5. Punching would probably be nothing but a gesture. They might introduce Fist/Gauntlet weapons, but I wouldn't count on it. Jumping is unnecessary, spikes are annoying enough as is, we don't need to add platforming hazards to the list of death.

6. This would be cool. Preferably something non Trojan/Dreadnaught-like

7 and 8 are all pretty cool.

9. Can be the tier 4 boss. That would be cool. Make it an undead dragon, since the game doesn't have an Undead type Token Boss.

10. New weapon types are always welcome. As long as they don't break game mechanics (I'm looking at you Mixmaster)

9.Medieval Times? didn't they use a SPACESHIP to get to cradle?Besides,look at their guns.
10 and 7 are 'meh' to me, I don't like the idea too much of event weapons, and perhaps more modes to lockdown?

there will be no tier 4, and if you mean that by in the core its not gonna happen, and you mean missions not promotions, wow, those can still happen In tier 3 you know (or you're closed minded and never noticed that missions share the same depths)

2. you mean more prestige missions
4. orbs are fine
5. there is no place for a Z axis, been stated before, and punching would be useless, really what idiot would punch something when theyre holding a weapon
6. you mean bosses and mini bosses, these have been suggested before and the people ACTUALLY said what they would be, not just make a useless suggestion like that with no detail
7 again been suggested many times with real thought

10 read 7

due to the fact you never said the real name of many of the things you mentioned and just 're stated many other suggestions but with little thought I highly recommend looking around and commenting on some of those, if you're new thats still no excuse

Okay, It was nice of you guys to correct me in my thread. Yes, I agree with all that, but I am done with my suggestions, I now need other suggestions from people and for them to be corrected as well. Our mission now is to revive Spiral Knights, but hey, who knows, if we revive the game we might find other things than what we are looking for right now.
And come on Supnaplamqw where did the term "knights" originate?

Ever heard of various Sports team names?
Besides, this is another PLANET were on,the atmosphere nor technology sure doesn't point to medieval ages.

algorithms are the solutions to any problem.

1 it's coming with the arcade redux and with a new T3 boss.
2 define "campaign". if you mean new missions every day, that's too much for anyone to produce. for all your running needs, prestige missions.
3 define T4. anyway, it wouldn't really matter. T4 wouldn't solve an problem, it would only provide a short burst of new content, then it would fade out and you would be asking for a T5 and I would give the same response.
4 if your "slight" is 20%, I would start to worry. anyway, the only orbs that don't drop are elite orbs, and that's a issue with loot table balancing.
5 what would jumping and punching add? details please. remember that there is no z axis.
6 mmm. look, I would say yes, but it would take a spawing points review and OOO doesn't seem akin to do that. see: minis.
7 define "mini games". prevalently: what mini games you want. because you can say "more mini games" and I can give you spiral tennis and you wouldn't like it.
8 OOO has plans for other battle sprites. I hope.
9 no, spiral knights isn't based on medieval times, otherwise we would have a horse. anyway, I don't think that guns and bombs fit with medieval times, and that 2/3 of the weaponry of the game.
10 they tried and they gave us apocrea, grinchlin and tortodrone events. content isn't that easy to create.

that's what the suggestion subforum is for. if we have suggestions we post them there.
and please don't try to say that your suggestion is finished. no suggestion is perfect from the start.

where did the term knights originate? from the developer's ideas. don't take the letter from anything you see.

they can see that people r quiting SK day by day, in start there as 12k peeps all the time and now hard 800 :OOOOO
Why they still not doing anyyyy THING????

if OOO really read these, they shud just do some reply thingy or idk.......they just want to lost their easy-income.

I want the punching mechanism to be applied to bombers so that they don't need to charge their bombs all the way for them to for instance: open boxes, break minerals, hit switch locks, and other activation systems. It would have no effect when used against a player then just a gesture and have zero hp reduction versus monsters. I feel it would greatly help bombers that are in tight situations and just don't have enough time to charge their bombs and wait for it to explode just to hit a switch and escape a mob of monsters (fiends). I feel this mechanism should be only for bombers except for the part it can be used as a gesture in player action menu like /sit.

I'd be ok with punching weapons. The tortoguns are kind of like this with their melee attack. Maybe not as a separate action though.

only the seraphynx and that lizard dragon can affect physical things. Maskeraith which is the pet i chose cant hurt anything besides monsters.
