Danger missions are supposed to be some of the hardest levels in the game next to shadow lairs, so why is the final floor only depth 26? Given the difficulty i think the depth of the final rooms should be raised to at least 27.
raise the depth of danger missions
You're talking about increasing the odds of good drops on the chests of the final room or making it so finishing a danger mission yields more rewards or just to up the difficulty by a bit? because the finality of your suggestion is unclear to me.
If it is rewards you're talking about then I completely agree, Danger missions are something i've secretly resented a bit cause of their lack of useful rewards, and by lack of rewards I mean lack of radiants other than horsie points, wich is something laughable.
This would not only make them harder, but increase their payout and make them more appealing vs. FSC grinding, which is an idea I had earlier today.
P.S: The rest of that idea was that harder monsters, like Almirian Crusaders, Trojans and Almirian Shadow Guards (Curse Deadnaughts) should pay out more than average, or more than they do at any rate. Same result, different method.
Start at depth 24 for normal
25 for advanced
26 for elite
Oh yeah, remember that stratum 5 danger missions are also a thing, so variable depth already exists in a form.
I am just referring to the depth, thus increasing the rewards (rads) in the final floor and making it marginally more difficult.
Exerpa's idea seems good, but i don't think its necessary as the difficulty already influences drop rate of rarities.
Seeing as the lower the depth, the better the rewards yet harder the difficulty, using "lower the depth" might be a better way of saying this.
And danger missions are designed to be dangerous. Where they currently stand is perfectly fine. You shouldn't be farming those missions for radiants, but getting the reward still is nice.
