Us elderly SK residents miss the days when we could join a party or make one and have it fill up in minutes with fresh adventurers. Getting destroyed by a shock greaver spawn was just fun, as opposed to an annoyance now, when you were with cool randoms.
But missions came, and rekt the arcade. Compounds, sparks, and solo loot also contribute to the supression of flourishing arcade explorers, but missions are the main cause.
The reason is that the missions are just more efficient in terms of farming, and can be played whenever. They also have no differentiation between the arcade versions, in terms of bosses.
In order to bring the old arcade back, it needs to have rewards, special areas or levels, or different/differentiated bosses from the missions, and the rewards need to be better.
Ill give some examples:
Mission FSC is fire based. Perhaps a shock FSC (Shockstorm citadel) could be made for the arcade version, since everyone loves shock. But harder levels are pointless without better rewards (Compounds anyone?). So maybe the shock vana could give 4 or 5 tokens, and the entire SSC could give 1.2x the loot.
Mission JK is normal, maybe add fire to arcade version
Aside from bosses, the regular levels could be tweaked to spawn new enemies, different drops, etc.
Point is, the arcade needs to offer something that missions cannot provide, whether that is new monsters, better rarity drops, more loot, new levels, different/new bosses, etc.
We need something else repeatable besides FSC too that provides similar crowns and radiant output.
