The thing is, I'll gladly stand here like a fool if Toxxicpoison records without AT and wins over and over. That's kinda the whole point of the non-AT community. We spread our matches and fights through video and strive towards getting more people to follow. A skilled player base is a happy player base.

I don't agree with that. I find the elitist attitude of the "no-AT pro" part of the community to be quite toxic. This is the case with lots of players with lower skill level/who use AT as well but it strikes me as more pronounced in the high level community.

Statuses makes the game more luck/spam dependent, which is the opposite of what this ranking strives for.
Statuses don't make the game more spam dependent, unskilled players have to spam stuff, usually guns. When they spam guns the opponent always do the same because if they attack they are dead and then the 1v1 is ruined.

Krakob 4 - 2 Murderhaze
Illu, they still have more than the baseline defence and a normal UV will be equally beneficial on the two defence levels. Of course, if you're really going for Normal you'll want to go for BKC+Ancient, anyway.
Tempas, that's only true for some items. Combinations such as BKC+Snarby and BKC+Shadowsun are quite obsolete. Ancient and ASI armours are still good, though.
