Now we all want to see slooms again and laugh our butst off on the guys who bought the inky zee cores for millions of ce, so I proposed we take action by buffing sleep up, and to do a few changes with the freeve status to make them more different.

First off get rid of healing what's the point of it? I hit a monster oh I'm sorry here rest up good now kill me.
that's enough for that.

Now here's what I want to propose. When you fall asleep, you will stay sleeping unless you run the timer, get hit by and enemy, or get hit by a teamate. When you get hit by a monster you take extra damage from that monster, but you do wake up, while with a teamate you get bonked on the head bam you take a bit of damage too. Now I promise you won get hurt when you wake up naturally but no more health regaining no for u.

Now your probably asking what about freeze? If we do this it will make the freeze status underpowered so here's my fix. When you get hit by a party member you will stay frozen, you will need to hit your member 4 times instead for 1, and for monsters it depends. The damage will depend on whether or not you thaw out. It will take about 4 hits for a slap to thaw you out but a trojan will take 1. I am thinking that this will count depending on your armor. If you have more shadow defense than you will thaw out quicker, but the less you have, then it will take more hits from a shadow monster.

And that's how you bring sleep back to the game, and one more thing doesn't it question you that the artwork for the zee core got reworked during the UI update before the bug of slooms arrived?

TEAMKILLER!

If getting woke by your teammate hurts you then I can guarantee complaints about trollers not letting the timer run down when your knight is asleep and at 1% HP.

"with the freeve status"

I looked at the "v" button then I looked at the "z" button; the conclusion was that there is a vero chance of such a typo happening.
As for the topic, It would be much better in my opinion if the sleep status caused random sudden sleep(similar to shock but without the damage).

P.S. I think I may be hallucinating.

Eh...

You're sort of replacing freeze with sleep and making freeze extended sleep. Granted, that's cool and all, but it's not the best way to go about the game.
Also, any sort of team-damage is bad in a co-op game such as Spiral Knights.

In the past I've suggested a fix where players would wake up automatically once a percentage of their health is gone after falling asleep and upon waking, they are drowsy for a length of time. During that time, the player would be overall slower but could not be put back to sleep. Healing is still in there but at a reduced rate (you will never regain all the health back that you lost from being hit).
This makes sleep a sort of hybrid of freeze and stun while keeping each of those inherently good. Stun is overall shorter and doesn't freeze you in place, and freeze can be broken by teammates or being hit once. Sleep also wouldn't keep you infinitely immobile like freeze can. Maybe even have an attack down (damage down) while drowsy too? Not as big as poison's though to keep poison still evil. Poison + sleep might even become a new lockdown meta at that point.
