I think you guys should really consider (really expensive) permanent weapon and trinket slots. I think it's a pain to pay for something I am not going to use everyday but have to buy it again in a allotted time frame. Knowing that not everyone plays 24/7 and wants to get full worth of their ce would like this.
PERMANENT trinket and weapon slots!!!!
If you won't be using the trinket for it's value then don't buy it. If you want it then buy it. Your problem. Don't start stealing out of the pockets of a f2p game, they need to make money somewhere.

thanks for stealing my sentence. you are wrong, go look up the definition of algorithm.
and plese let this thread die and refer to the other thread for responses.
I believe we've already discussed this in depth (and only like a week ago?), but I'll repeat my argument here as well for the sake of it.
@"This will lose the developers money that they need though!"
No one plays Spiral Knights forever. Everyone thinks that they do, and therefore plays like they do, but they don't. If the market audience of such a slot pass had to overpay on average, then it could actually benefit the developers financially. Since the cost of these slots is actually pretty cheap, forcing players to pay for ten years is only like 30,000 energy, which is a pretty safe bet if you ask me- Spiral Knights hasn't even been here for 10 years. No one has ever played for 10 years. But people would buy it, because they want their account to be more or less "complete", and this would be one huge step that requires energy to overcome.
This simple fact covers the harshest condition- that only players buying slots constantly would partake in this. There are a LOT of players that don't buy weapon slots at all and even more that cap out at 3 slots instead of 4, lack trinkets. If they could be made to stupidly purchase a 10 year weapon upgrade that lasts forever, it would be a huge benefit to the developers. Marginally more than them buying weapon slots for two years and then quitting.

My answer is in there
Instead of making them permanent, how about they expire when your ONLINE for the span of 30 days, then the timer pauses when you're offline.
Hey I actually like your last idea, but it would be more fair though if they raised the price if the update turned out like that.
Well it's true that it doesn't make sense for them to expire while offline. But definitely nothing permanent.
No it wouldn't, the slots would still have max 30 days of use, plus the prices are pretty fair as they are.
Yes.
