Dear OOO and my fellow knights,

Hey Guys it's Sspiralman
I have an idea for a new mini-boss or boss.
The name is Grow-Jan or Spawnosaur or (suggestions!)...and basically it looks like an oversized Trojan with a green glow coming out of its helmet and a Healing wand in its hand like the Gremlin Healers have(but bigger). But it does not heal monsters directly.
So basically it's got two attacks:
1) The lunge and smack in the face (like normal Trojans) but a little bit quicker. Each hit will have a small bomb-like splash damage radius and if any knight is in that radius, the monster spawns 5 random monsters (on any tile in the whole room) which can be ANY monsters in the game.
2) The Aura: It gets a light green glow all over and is as big as a Nitronome's radius. All monsters that come in contact with that glow get an ASI, Defense and MSI bonus for a few seconds. They will start to glow green and start attacking every knight in the party randomly.
also, it only spawns in a big, arena-like room.

Sooo...what do you guys think? Please make suggestions and names!!!(really bad names above!) and if the monster could look like something else, like a Big Green Lumber. Also, you could make it into a Boss like a Greenglow Vanaduke or Jelly Doctor or something and add it in a Prestige mission (ultra hard mission but very yielding)

Thanks in advance

Edit: Removed the rare random spawning idea and some other silly things

Well..

All fiends besides bosses, arkus and trojans usually have those ear thingies on their head, so i think that should be included. I also think it should look more like a mix gorgo and a trojan. So it will look fatter in face, but tiny horse legs and muscular arms. I don't think this monster should have a shield like a trojan, but i think it having a long tail that it uses to flick knights in it's attack range would not be bad. Also, how about giving its green aura a more steam like aura that leaves a steam trail as it moves. Well that is all i can think of now hehe.

Spawning enemies is a bit much. The only mobs capable of spawning new enemies (outside Prestige) are bosses (I think whenever mini-bosses spawn enemies they do it through spawn pads only, but I may be wrong there) and I personally believe it should stay that way. The reason being is because;
What if it spawned another one of itself (editable with extra work)?
What if you're equipped for a depth and it spawns enemies completely mismatching of your gear (you wear shadow defence and pierce damage and it spawns Jelly and Construct)(or does it only spawn fiends)?
What if it spawns turrets (would they not be stuck in the knock-back)?
Could some mobs maybe damage the depth (only example I can think of for this is Rormy)?
If you kill it can you still walk out of arenas or do the spawned mobs block the gate (or do the mobs disappear)?

Also, this seems stronger than Trojans who are already seen as one of the strongest mobs. The fiend family on a whole is seen as rediculously powerful so it should be the last target for boosting.

@Chaos-Mist

It will NOT spawn another one of itself. There can be only one of them in the whole room or even in the whole mission.
Well, it CAN spawn a monster of any family (that's the main difficulty) so what's the problem with that? It should be a Prestige mission suitable for Vanguards and other high-tier knights.
It will spawn Turrets in specified places. The mini-boss will be spawned in an arena only (edited that) so that players have room to kill it instead of spawning rarely in place of a Fiend.
As for the spawned enemies, the enemies with the green aura will die instantly if you kill their boss (they will not drop loot if they despawn like this) but you can wish to kill them like normal monsters.

Anyway I think even if a monster like this is added, it should be a Danger Prestige mission so you're free to play it and also it doesn't block you from doing your Rank missions. Or you could just turn it into a Tier 3 boss and add its own Tokens and stuff like a shield, sword and/or gun.
Thanks for the suggestions (please give me more names for it)

Hmm.

I'm okay with the whole "spawning things" idea, but it should be for certain families. Like, it should only spawn dust zombies, spookats, devilites, greavers, overtimers, (rarely) yesmen, and silkwings.

I think it's great to have monsters spawning in depths where they shouldn't be (see: monster boxes), but for a monster in the fiend family it should be spawning other shadow monsters.

And Chaos-Mist, you're forgetting that Black Kats can spawn dust zombies/carnavons.

Overall, I think a danger mission could include these guys just fine. Spawning smash ability should only spawn 3 enemies and within a 6 tile radius of the player if hit. When down to 75%, 50%, and 25% health (for the first time), the enemy should spawn 5 enemies within an 8 tile radius around itself and encase itself in a "bubble shield" like gremlin menders that lasts for 10 seconds or until broken. Anti-blitz mechanism is go! Aura ability needs nothing more than the stat increase. Making monsters "attack knights in the party randomly" is essentially what they do right now.
