Personally my favorite beetle is the Rhinoceros Beetle, proportionally one of the strongest, if not the strongest animal on earth. There are stories of them lifting ~850 times their own body weight! And here's a picture of one playing with a frog, because they're actually quite harmless to people, since they don't really bite or sting.
Although a close second is the Stag Beetle because of those awesome pincers. People sometimes have them fight each other for sport. They also look great in rainbow.
