Moonstone: Reset Foods

Moonstone (somewhat corresponding to its description, containing "the knowledge and origins of all worlds" - as in which sprite skills your sprite "knows") would be used to craft sprite foods that reset your sprite's skill points and ultimates.

Reset stars would remain store-only; purchasing one for Energy would save you some Moonstone grind.

Reset Mote:

  • 25 Moonstone
  • 25 3-star materials
  • 500 Crowns

Resets a single skill point of the player's choice (replaces the sprite preview with an overview of all 3 of your sprite skills and skill points for you to choose which to reset).

The Moonstone and Crown costs correspond with 5-Star sprite food costs.

It uses 3-star materials instead of 5-star materials since this would mostly be useful to newer players who aren't able to effectively gain 5-star mats yet.

Reset Stone:

  • 200 Moonstone
  • 25 5-star materials
  • 2500 Crowns

Resets a single ultimate skill of the player's choice (replaces the sprite preview with an overview of all 3 of your sprite ultimates and details on each for you to choose which to reset).

Valestone: Boundless Foods

Valestone (somewhat corresponding to its description, containing "the essence of all natural life" - as in it can be used in all sprites) would be used to craft sprite foods that can be used by any sprite rather than purely the one corresponding to its color.

While gathering minerals of your specific color would be more efficient, it can be useful if that color isn't in the level but Valestone is, as well as if you're maxed out on your own sprite and want to help other players in a group with several sprite types (or just sell it on the auction house to anyone who sees it).

Boundless Mote:

  • 7 Valestone
  • 2 1-star materials
  • 10 Crowns

Can be used in place of a Power, Divine or Shadow Mote to give a Preferred Food heat boost and/or level up any Sprite.

Valestone cost is 2/5 greater than the regular mineral cost; other costs are the same as other foods.

Boundless Dust:

  • 14 Valestone
  • 2 2-star materials
  • 25 Crowns

Can be used in place of a Power, Divine or Shadow Dust to give a Preferred Food heat boost and/or level up any Sprite.

Valestone cost is 2/5 greater than the regular mineral cost; other costs are the same as other foods.

Boundless Stone:

  • 21 Valestone
  • 2 3-star materials
  • 50 Crowns

Can be used in place of a Power, Divine or Shadow Stone to give a Preferred Food heat boost and/or level up any Sprite.

Valestone cost is 2/5 greater than the regular mineral cost; other costs are the same as other foods.

Boundless Orb:

  • 28 Valestone
  • 2 4-star materials
  • 200 Crowns

Can be used in place of a Power, Divine or Shadow Orb to give a Preferred Food heat boost and/or level up any Sprite.

Valestone cost is 2/5 greater than the regular mineral cost; other costs are the same as other foods.

Boundless Star:

  • 35 Valestone
  • 2 5-star materials
  • 500 Crowns

Can be used in place of a Power, Divine or Shadow Star to give a Preferred Food heat boost and/or level up any Sprite.

Valestone cost is 2/5 greater than the regular mineral cost; other costs are the same as other foods.

Also, maybe separate the 3 (5?) sprite food types into separate crafting categories in the alchemy machine?

A separate "sprite food" category in the inventory for all food types would also be nice.

I really like the idea of "wildcard" sprite foods. I would, however, limit sprite level ups to their preferred food, and have the valestone food simply be a heat equivalent.

The moonstone variant is interesting. I don't imagine I'd see them used too much, but the option to have them for a fairly cheap price is a good one.

Or new pets, it's been a while since Sk has had any kind of new combat, it's just the same monsters, same weapons being re skinned, new pets would definitely bring back players, and if a new sprite prize box was released along with the release of these monsters, Grey Havens could expect to make some cash.

this sounds pretty good

i'd like to see either new pets for the mineral types, or something like this--i agree with fangel that letting you level up with boundless food would be a bit much, but heating them with it seems like a good idea
