Turbillion is pretty OK

When I heard GH introduced an upgrade for Winmillion, I was a little disappointed. None of the issues Winmillion had seemed to have been addressed, and the name "Turbillion" struck me as kind of dumb.

However, I crafted the thing and discovered its damage values are better than I expected them to be, and measuring its attack speed by recording suggests that it has the same attack speed as the Spur, only lasting 3 frames longer on the final swing because it cannot be shield cancelled. I like its appearance and its name has grown on me, but its charge attack still has the issues common to all Spur line swords. They are as follows:

- Like Avenger, when the charge attack is started next to a wall, the bullet collides with the wall and disappears.
- When you shield cancel the charge, the bullet sometimes doesn't spawn.
- The bullet's hitbox seems a bit small. It'd be more useful if it was a bit bigger.
- The bullet's knockback sends the enemy in a direction relative to the bullet, rather than the source player, so it sends enemies kind of everywhere and it isn't very helpful. This is especially true if it knocks an enemy into you.
- The charge swing's hitbox does not at all match the telegraph. The damage is absolutely amazing but you have to stand right next to whatever you want to hit for it to work.

All in all I'm actually pretty happy with this weapon. Its performance might not exactly be 'optimal' (especially when compared to Brandishes), but it definitely seems viable to me.

What are the damage values like? I may have a spreadsheet to update.

a couple of days

Mine's almost heated, so I can have damage values in a couple of days. Of course, someone else probably has them right now.

they're on the wiki now

Most of the damage numbers are on the wiki now (by Icytea). I just filled in the last one for depth 28.

oh good

Thanks for the tip. (And it's nice to see you again. :)

I added some text about the regular and charge attacks. The damage numbers aren't bad, but the hitbox is so narrow and buggy-feeling that the sword is frustrating. Get ready to aim *exactly* at your target from *exactly* the right distance. This is probably old news to Winmillion devotees. I never was one myself.

Hating on the name, eh?

@Nethorse

Regarding the probable inspiration for the name....

Either this.....or, this. Don't be a d***.

For the charge attack, you can simply fill in neutral charge damage from Fearless Rigadoon.

As you can see, the combo numbers and currently present charge numbers line up as well.

The shots correspond to DVS ghost blades which correspond to any of the end-tier Antiguas.

Charge projectile appears to correspond to expanded Supernova:

But Turbillion says 133-126 while Supernova says 126-133. My guess is that one of those are written in the wrong order. The numbers line up perfectly before that.

In short, I do not have a spreadsheet to update.

Edit: Actually I do!

We live in some kind of Bizarro world where Supernova is the only 5* Pulsar to have its damage values filled in after the Gunner update.

Though if I'm reading the numbers right you can swipe expanded/charge from any of the Valiances:

And unexpanded shot from Hail Driver:
