Dual Sword Question

With what I've read and heard about Gran Faust's amazing curse ability, I know I'll be using that for sure (eventually, though, since I've yet to beat Royal Jelly with my mostly 2* stuff). The second sword, however, is a bit of a doozy. It's mainly down to Divine Avenger or Barbarous Thorn Blade, since I would still like to have some form of ranged attack. The thing is, with Diving Avengers those annoying Gun Puppies and Phantoms will be easier to deal with but Barbarous Thorn Blade takes out Greavers and Silkwings quicker. I find either of the two sets to be annoying, but what would be recommended?

For me I will be using 3
For me I will be using 3 swords. Gran Faust is going to be my main along with final flourish and the cold vanquisher sword

I went from dual heavy swords
I went from dual heavy swords (Troika/Faust line) to three (Troika/Faust/Avenger line) - I got the avenger last.
If you like playing arenas, avengers are so nice. Die, robots! :V
I use either my Khorovod or Divine Avenger vs fiends now - but my main choice doesn't really matter since I wear valkyrie armor, which protects me from curse and gives me extra damage vs fiends anyway.

both sealed sword lines are overpowered, end of story
The divine avenger is more or less the answer to all problems.
Which is unfortunate. They should reduce the charge effect. Take it down to 2 of those little damage arrow thingies or something.
