Hi,

I played SK without troubles almost without troubles (http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/13138).

And today i got another problem, when i launch SK (I have account connected to Steam) im starting to login with my Steam account, and after 2-3 seconds i got error:

"We experienced a problem authenticating with Steam.
Please ensure that the Steam client is running and that you are not logged in elsewhere."

Before that i was playing for 2 minutes i simply go to gates, then i clicked join party (Tier 2) and got loading screen at 5% freezed, black screen appears, then i got loggedout and got this message, now im unable to login over 2 hoursy 0.o wtf?

Tried logout from Steam, changed password and still the same.

Might want to change the thread title to something steam related, me & my friend can both log in fine with normal accounts but steam accounts don't work for either of us.

I woke up like 15 minutes ago so it can't be because I did something wrong ingame.

Same here. Had this 2 days

Same here. Had this 2 days ago already.
It helped deleting the "AppUpdateStats.blob" as well as "ClientRegistry.blob" - but this workaround does not work now.

When I had the problem the first time I already got a "NO STEAM LOGON" error in CS:S - this is not the case now. It seems to be just related to Spiral Knights. Restarting Steam/PC will _not_ fix the problem!

Maybe some Specs might help on finding the bug:
- Steam and SK in latest Version
- VDSL50 Telekom
- Speedport W723V Router
- located in Germany

Hardware:
- Intel i5 750
- Radeon HD5700
- Windows 7 Home Premium

Don't know...but i logged in! no idea is this your method succes, but...still doesn't change that i loosed 10 CE...

I am able to log in now to.

I am able to log in now to. Not related to deleting the files.

To explain what these files do, in short: They store the update status of steam and your games (if you delete, steam checkes again and is forced to reload the newest update) and information on bandwith and things like these. I deleted them, because steam was somehow not cool with me switchting from DSL 6k to VDSL and didn't connect me - wether in SK nor in CS:S.

But today, deleting the files didn't work. Suddenly the login is working again, no action taken by me to achieve this.

PLEASE OOO give us information on this!

Strange, game launched i played few hours...and i closed game and window from steam poped up "Steam Completed downloading Spiral Knights"

I bound my account to steam

I bound my account to steam and was not happy with the fact that I could no longer use web clients to log in. But now I'm getting the same authentication error referenced above and cannot log in at all.

I would very much like to unbind my account, integrating with steam has given me no benefits and plenty of problems.
