Helmet Recommendations?

I've got armor and a helm that I really like as a costume, but obviously I need something functional underneath if I want to move on in difficulty. At the moment, I have a bound Magic Cloak that I'm not using, and have been thinking about perhaps upgrading once I have energy to do so. (I'll probably wind up buying the Starter Pack.) However, before I get too invested in any particular gear, I was wondering if there are any helmets that would compliment the Magic Cloak line, or if I should stick with a matching hood. On that note, which of the three highest ranking cloaks is the best? (Miracle, Chaos, Grey Feather) Is there one that is particularly useful compared to the others?

This is an informative post

This is an informative post on why Grey Feather is generally more useful than the Divine option.

One of the perks to using the Divine set is that the Veil has Medium Damage to Fiends. Unfortunately though, the mantle has no such bonus. So if you are going to upgrade your cloak, might as well do Grey Feather instead of Divine.

I tried doing a mixed set, so Divine Veil with Grey Feather Mantle and it works well enough. I did that instead of full Grey Feather because I happened to have the recipes already and I wanted to see how a mixed set functioned. Honestly though, the smarter choice would have been to simply go full Grey Feather.

What is your primary weapon type? You can get something from Wolver, Demo or Gunslinger hats to complement your weapon.

Go for Divine Veil for

Go for Divine Veil for general defense or one of Vog/Skolver/Demo/Nameless hats if you want a weapon buff.

I've got Azure Guardian, but it's lousy, so I'm building a Divine Veil and Skolver Coat--gives you all four defenses. If Quicksilver Mail still has a movement buff now that it's widely available, though, I'll probably build that next.

Ah, alright. Grey Feather

Ah, alright. Grey Feather seems like it would probably be easier for me to put together anyway, since I seem to have luck finding the mats for it as opposed to some of the materials needed for the other cloaks.

My primary weapon is a Striker, soon to be upgraded. I'm pretty fond of its high attack speed, even if it doesn't do a ton of damage. My secondary weapon is just a simple Blaster that I mainly just use when I want to keep my distance, and really could switch out for another gun if there is a particular one that's better as an all-around gun. (Although I've been thinking about trying bombs, at least for a little while.)
