Well here's whats gone down.....whenever I try to do a 3 hit combo with the CIV, the second hit's knockback hits the enemy so far back that most of the time, the 3rd and crucial hit doesn't land. It pretty much MISSes and then you end up dying pretty quickly. Only way to avoid this is by cornering them or hitting them up against something. Or miss the second hit and then hit them with the third, which makes it quite annoying and hard to use.

People suggested techniques to counter this, but they are slow and annoying. Plus, TECHNIQUES DON'T FIX BUGS. In case you didn't notice, it's a problem with ASI and combos, and it's annoying, so it needs to be fixed.

ASI, And a +1

When I had vog coat and Swiftstrike buckler with my old Levi, the ultra ASI was making my third hit miss also, this also applied with my Brandish-lines. The best way to cover this is to 2-swing then shield, rinse and repeat. While maybe a little more time consuming, it still does a good job.

Also +1, 2nd strike knock should be decreased a little.

This is not a bug, and can be

This is not a bug, and can be overcomed with some advanced techniques, described as delayed second slash here : http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/13083

This technique works with 3 swing swords, and can be done either between first and second or between second and third (but not both, for obvious reasons).

It is a technique a swordsman should master quickly, as it is useful for EVERY sword.

Um...no?

Nothing can be "overcomed" because "overcomed" isnt a word. 1st of all, if someone gets a CIV and misses the 3rd hit almost every time, do you think they will want to learn "advanced weapons techiniques"? 2nd, it's a bug. If you need to use a technique to get a weapon's combo to work the way it wasn't supposed to, (hence "to work right") then it needs to be changed. Something with the weapon combos is not working correctly with ASI's, so it's a bug.

BUMP

Thing is, there doesn't seem to be enough GM's to help with bugs. Most are dismissed as "not bugs" and not even looked at.

You can submit an in-game bug

You can submit an in-game bug report, if you haven't already. I've read here that every report is reviewed by a person.

Yeah but your mileage may

Yeah but your mileage may vary, I was told to report bugs with F2 instead because those would reach the devs.
