NEW 5* GUNSLINGER ARMOR

all right, first off I'm a Gunner-Bomber guy, not a gunslinger, but I can't really stand all much fail packed into the gunslinger set, see look at it:

-starts a 3*, so its harder to craft for a UV
-the only GUN damage bonus is the shadow stentson, but it has poison and curse drawbacks, and with the new curse stratum coming up, it'll be still be useless, even if there was an update that boosted the gun damage bonus.

My suggestion:

replace or add a new 5* gunner armor, the Redhot Ricochet,

Pros:
Elemental/Piercing def
damage plus for guns: medium
ASI for guns: low
fire resist

Cons:
Stun drawback
freeze drawback
poison drawback
shock drawback
Charge time INCREASE for bombs: low
no normal defense
attack time DECREASE for swords: low
only +4 max hp at heat lvl 10, not +5.

and also that slightly funny description
-This sash/hat will make your enemies go YOWEE! while you go YEEHAW!

thoughts?

Like I said in the title, I love the description. Made me giggle.

So basically you're saying a Gun Dmg Med & Gun ASI low on each piece? Won't happen.

A drawback to bombs really doesn't affect anyone but hybrids. People will gladly take the bomb drawback to wear this armor. Granted, I'm with most gunners that shadowsun should be Med for each piece instead of low (I realize that guns do less damage, but they do less damage base. The percentage increase I would think to be on par with other class armor sets.. but I digress)

Having double whammy bonuses is great in theory, but it's out of balance with the other sets in the game. The only comparison would be Mad Bomber and that has neg status effects down the board (almost)... and zero +status (where as you suggest +fire resist).

Again, I love the name and the description, but it's out of balance and wouldn't happen. Sorry =(

the armor also has a maximum stun drawback, which makes it when you get hit by a lumber with a few wolvers, its most likely game over,

Maximum stun drawback wouldn't be a problem If you get elemental/fire resist and two bonuses.

Uhh..

That is so OP it's not even funny. Shadowsun set MIGHT get upgraded to Dmg bonus med if possible. But dude.. 3 bonus's is unrealistic.
ASI: Low.
Ctr: Low. (For Bombs.)
Damage Bonus: Medium.

1# ASI and and Dmg Bonus? Crazy.
2# Ctr.. for bombs? Gunners aren't bombs.
3# And.. a res to fire? Big deal, a stun weakness. The horror.
This is so OP it's not even funny.
I'd be suprised if shadowsun gets a medium damage bonus upgrade itself.
All coming from a gunner.

ranger, it was a CHARGE TIME INCREASE FOR BOMBS, i also even out the set abit, adding more drawbacks ans a drawback for swords :|

hopefully its ALOT more even, hopefully

Urgh.

It doesn't matter. Only gunners would use this armor, so why the hell would you give drawbacks for bombs or swords? Gunners don't use bombs or swords. And you keep saying that it is a charge time INCREASE. I take it you mean DECREASE. Doesn't matter either way, insanely OP.
Normal defence? Ha. Gunners don't get hit FYI. Status decreases? Who cares? You already have fire, the most important.
1 health bar? You got to be kidding me. I just hope for shadowsun getting boosted, and chances are that that won't even happen.

Hey, stop throwing typical "I-wanna-be-superman"-threads at the devs, it's distracting them from FIXING the existing gunslinger armor sets! ;)

( 2 Designs... for 4 sets... which suck... please work on those! It's about time. )

No, he means increase, as in IT TAKES LONGER to charge a bomb. Still a mostly useless drawback from gunslingers not using bombs, but I just hate seeing people run on bad arguments.

I'd be happy with Nameless

I'd be happy with Nameless getting fire ressist, and the regular lines getting one status ressist. Demo should also have a ressistance.
I like the idea of weapon penalties. Mad bomber should have better bomb buffs with some low sword/gun penalties. Or weapon penalties as opposed to status weaknesses.
