ok well, id like your opinion on what would be my best choice to go for, for constant FSC runs (not vanduke just farming fsc)

my current arsenal:

divine veil
divine mantel

blackend crest (soon to me CoA)

ASI med trinket on sword
DMG low (soon to be med) trinket on guns

weapons i use (in order)

polaris... <3
Blitz needle
shivermist buster
divine avenger

well, im kinda lookin for some normal dmg resistance for the trojans but i must keep the divine veil and dmg trinket. also the DA and shiver are optional for me seeing as i do almost all my dmg with the polaris and knockback kinda eliminates need for shiver(though it helps)

looking forward to what you have to say :D

If you don't use the shiver

If you don't use the shiver much you could possibly swap in a voltaic tempest.

As for adding some normal protection to your armor, you could swap in a Deadshot Mantle in place of the Divine. The protection on the Sunset and lower armors will be a bit useless, but once you craft it to the Deadshot you'll have shadow/normal and a med undead bonus, which will nicely complement the med fiend bonus on the Divine Veil.

The Stagger Storm and Venom

The Stagger Storm and Venom Veiler have a somewhat limited usefulness given that the Stun and Poison status effects don't have remarkable crowd control or any DoT properties. The SS is apparently quite fun to use in Lockdown, though.

The VT and AoA are most liked for their DoT. The AoA does best outside of fire-themed levels (for obvious reasons), and the VT fills in the gaps for fire levels and performs spectacularly against kats in particular since their attack patterns are highly vulnerable to the shock interrupt and they tend to cluster together a lot for good chain-shock damage.

Given that, the VT would be the best non-SB status bomb to take to FSC.

Of course, you could also get some mileage out of the Dark Briar Barrage, but you've already got piercing damage covered with the Blitz Needle and mass zombie slaughering with the polaris. Similarly the RSS is fantastic against turrets and trojans, but your existing weapon loadout covers both those adequately as well.

First thing is I would

First thing is I would replace the Divine Mantle to have some normal defense. Because full Divine = no normal, and Vanaduke (and trojans) hit full normal.

You can either go for Deadshot for general FSC usage, but you'll not have fire resistance, or Vog Cub for more sword usage, but no shadow protection.

As for weapons, if you want to be fully effective on Vanaduke, you would need a normal damage weapon for mask phases, like Leviathan.

AH ok now i get it...

ok well, i see what your saying about the VT ... i may give it a shot ty^^

fradow i know what you mean... but while i have the fairly large ammount of fire res on the veil, would the fire dmg really affect me tht much more?
and thrs always the possibility of getting a fire uv on it too.
and about tht normal weapon comment, i already said im not doing vana just farming lvls

oh and just a side note,
the dmg bonus on the BTS... is that for all weapons? or just swords?

So, for the fire resist, from

So, for the fire resist, from my experience, i once did a run with only one part with fire resist (I usually have 2 fire resist parts), and i definitely noticed the difference. There is so much fire that you WILL take some fire damage, no matter how good you are. While it is entirely doable with only 1 fire resist part (and even without any), it makes it a lot easier.

I don't have experience with fire UV, so i can't say much about that, but it could work too.

Sorry, I missed the part where you said you don't do Vana. As for the rest, I pretty much run everything with the same weapons, minus Polaris (not very party friendly and one of my most frequent mate hate it so much i am forbidden to use it) and don't have any trouble. Not going to say you shouldn't consider anything else, but that's good.

Unfortunately, the damage bonus on BTS is only for swords (you can see the sword icon with the text, meaning swords only). If you want a boost on your shield, the only option is Swiftstrike Buckler, which is 3*. You'd better be pro at dodging/shield bump if you want to use it in FSC (some guys do it).

P.S. : in what way am i supposed to be a troll ? You seem to be mistaken, I'm a wolver.

Just a note

If you can do Vana easily, I definitely recommend doing it. Simple reason, for 10 CE you can get 3+ tokens which can go toward Ancient Plate. Once you get it just vendor it for 30k CR. So essential that is 10 CE for 3k CR, pretty good ROI. Much better than any arena I've been to.

I too recommend two fire resistances. I've done FSC in a Mad Bomber Set, and it hurts so bad catching on fire, have to be super careful. I'd rather have full fire resistance so that I can clear rooms quickly and a bit recklessly. On that note, since you use DA might consider Vog Cub Coat just for the ASI.

Remember that zombies do half normal/shadow in T3. So getting hit by a zombie is going to do the same damage to someone in full Vog as someone in full Divine. You are just blocking a different half of the damage. Same with someone using a Divine/Vog mixed set, you'll receive about the same damage from a Zombie swipe. The only way to minimize damage from Zombies is to wear something like full Deadshot or Snarby, but those don't have built-in fire resistance.
