The 6 breakable blocks

In some maps, I forget Aurora Isles of what stage, there is an area with a 6 breakable blocks, spaced out evenly side to side in 2 rows of 3.

The '+'s representing the blocks.
Do they do anything? Or are they that random mystery which actually has no answer, while people laugh at you as you search for it?

I don't know. What I meant by mentioning Aurora Isles was that I know it's a stage of that type, I just can't remember which. Jelly farm, Isles, Jigsaw valley, Idk...

But it's arrangement is on a one-way path, just one square around what space is needed to fit that formation I put. It usually is at a party button too.

I know that place. There's nothing there that I know of. But then again, I never thought to investigate more carefully. I usually destroy the blocks and move on.

I know exactly what you're talking about.
I'm pretty sure it's just for decoration (the same way you can knock the wheels off pipes, even though they give nothing) although i remember hearing somewhere that anywhere a stone block can spawn, a stone jelly can spawn in it's place. It might be set up so there is a random chance of having an enemy there.

(and now I'm sure in the next update they'll hide a button under one and make extra loot boxes appear later in the level or something, like the mystery button in FSC)

Stones, stones, and more stones
They're just stones. All strategically placed around the map to make the level so decorative as you explore. You can destroy every stones in view and it makes you nuts.... or rather stoned. lol

Not rocks
Just regular one-hit-kchink-its gone blocks. Rock jellies appear in place of actual rock blocks.

I've honestly never seen a rock jelly spawn at all.

I have seen one, and I'm pretty sure it was in Aurora Isles (or at least ones with similar icons, so maybe Jelly Farm?). This was before I knew they existed, and it scared the crap out of me. Actually, it hit me twice or three times before I realized what I was taking damage from. I kept going "wtf, invisible monster? Why is this block not breaking?", it was pretty hilarious when I think back to it.
I've seen it only that once, though. I've seen the love puppy 4 or 5 times now, so I guess rock jelly is rarer?

Aurora Isles? You sure its not Jigsaw Valley?
