Whenever I try to change the resolution the client just closes. I read the sticky and managed to change it manually so at least I can see everything properly now. I just wanted to know why I can't change it ingame, does it have to do with my video drivers? I think they might be outdated but.. I'm very hesitant to attempt updating it because I'm really terrible with computers. The last time I tried I basically killed my laptop and my brother had to fix everything. He's not here to help me now but if updating will fix the problem I might want to try..

Also, as far as FPS, does the game run smoother in windowed mode or full screen? Or does it not make a difference? I can't really tell. But I prefer full because it's annoying clicking out of the game in the middle of a fight.

I cant change the resolution of my game either using the ingame options. It most likely is a video driver thing. I have the Intel Integrated Graphics Card.
I'm pretty sure the less area you take up the better the game runs.

it depends on the card, if its good any resolution will be the same, if its bad, then lower resolution will propably make the game better.

Usually its driver related. As for windowed vs full screen, it depends on your OS. Older versions of Windows had distinct 2D and 3D modes for the video cards, so running 3D games in windowed mode used to a put a small amount of extra load to keep running the desktop. In Vista and Win7, the video sub-system runs in 3D all the time because of Aero and has gotten fairly efficient at handling both programs and the desktop at the same time. So you won't notice any major difference between full screen and windowed mode.
