"Once upon a time, in a land and dimension not much different from ours.
There lived a blade of an unseen caliber. Day after day, was the mettle of the blade tested.
Upon being plunged deep into sinew and flesh untold times, the blade gained conscience.
That blade was me. I was a bane of things fey. Of Cold Iron is my body cast from.
Of Iron that was of an unacceptable warmth. I felt the chill everyday, despite being served in battle a veritable banquet of warm-blooded meals
One day, my master received a summons from a trio of fey objects who wished to acquire not only me, but the services of my master.
The scroll that served as summons took both of us to a world of clockworks. I survived the plunge, my master, not able to thrive with the mist that flowed instead of oxygen, he then expired away.
Now serving to defeat undead fey and kat in a world, where I can finally feel the heat after a worthy hero takes me to an elevating platform.
