Right now I have Avenger, Night Blade, Dusker Set, and Horned Owlite shield

Right now, I'm still focusing on the Jelly King runs to get Antigua so I have a question. Should I upgrade my Dusker Set, Horned Owlite Shield, or Nightblade first.
Or you could give me advice about what even to buy and upgrade.

Last thing, right now, people say Sentenza line is now better than Argent Peacemaker after the patch. Is that true? Or only depending for the situation.

Thanks!

For the first question : you

For the first question : you should upgrade Nightblade to Silent Nightblade first. For JK runs, the difference in damage is very noticeable. That seems like a good loadout for JK (although you could use a piercing shield, but for now focusing on a single general purpose shield is probably better).

As for Antigua, we don't know when the patch will be. In all we know, it could be next week or in 6 months. And currently, both Argent Peacemaker and Sentenza are not that great due to split damage. As for which one is better, it's like comparing apple to orange. They don't do the same damage type (that'll still be true after the patch). Which one you want depends of what you are using it for. Check the damage page on the wiki.

Okay, so what do you suggest what gun is a well-round gun/line that would be good for tier 3. Not shadow lairs yet :P

Or is just being a swordsman is better and more efficient in tier 3?

The standard sidearm for a

The standard sidearm for a swordsman is Polaris, mainly because it's the most overpowered gun. Argent Peacemaker is at present a good gun for Vana, particularly if you want to try the solo and if your team doesn't have a freeze bomb (if it does, shooting Vana with AP just makes things harder). After the patch, AP won't be as good for Vana. If you want a three shot gun with excellent knockback, go for Valiance. If you don't care, Polaris.

In general, for a swordsman,

In general, for a swordsman, a gun side-arm is going to be elemental, because the most troublesome enemies for a swordsman are weak or neutral to elemental (all turrets, lumber, retrodes ...).

If by tier 3 you mean FSC, I'm going to advise a Blitz Needle, because it's so much better against its intended targets than everything else down there (Trojans and Vanaduke), although it requires some serious training.

As for what is "better and more efficient", you decide for yourself. Except in FSC, I generally get away without using a single gun (my loadout is generally 2 swords and 2 bombs). When I do use one, it's generally a Polaris, for the first reason I cited : it's the best against turrets (I don't use it on other targets in a group, in general, because of annoying knockback).

agree

Avoid Argent and Sentenza until the developers go through with changing their damage type (if they ever do).

Upgrade all of your items to 4-star (Silent Nightblade, Wise Owlite) before upgrading any of them to 5-star.

Your sidearm gun should be elemental, as Fradow says. However, in FSC the most useful gun is Blitz/Plague Needle.

Get a piercing sword --- not for RJP, but for general Clockworks play --- because piercing swords are wildly powerful.

There are also bombs in this game. Some of them are very fun and effective.
