Im recently having a trobles with choosing best server for me, im not sure if it should be EU or US. Thats why i wanted to make a ping test of an server located nearest to the SK servers using pingtest.
On http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Performance_issues_FAQ FAQ i found out that US servers are located on West Coast.
What about EU servers? In what country at least they are located?

Sorry, it's been a while since I updated that page. However, Andrzej confirmed that the US East servers are located in Virginia. Since Amazon's EC2 hosting service is used, I'm betting that the EU servers are in Ireland, mostly cause that's the only purchasing option avalible for an EU instance on Amazon's listing. (They also call Virginia US East too, I'm sensing a common naming scheme here.) Likely by the time you read this I'll have the wiki page updated.
Dogrock is clearly wrong they are located in Boswick's basement, so when he wishes to troll all of SK he can do so I am sure he makes grilled cheese sandwiches on the servers as well.

My guess is that the EU servers are somewhere in Germany or France. I've heard Britain players say they get better ping connecting to US servers than EU servers
