I was told via support by a lovely GM named Coriolis to log my suggestion here.
So! I thought I'd just copy & paste what I emailed support here 'cause it was
quite long winded... and I'm lazy =P
"Basically my idea is when readying a bomb- for the light/spark to change to a
more vibrant colour so that players are able to see properly when their bomb is
ready to be set down. Many a time I have loaded a bomb and mistakenly tried
to set down the bomb thinking it was ready when in fact it wasn't.
At the moment the colour transition goes white>yellow which is a very subtly
change. It looks nice and all but there are times when I miss that change,
thinking that the white is yellow and... yeah, no bomb go "boom".
Especially when I'm surrounded by hoards of enemies, visibility is nil.
Also, I know that a sound accompanies the light... I'm guilty of having the in
game music on mute and playing my own music quite high, so I do miss that
sound on the odd occasion.
So my suggestion is; would it be possible to change the light transition when
readying a bomb?
For example you could change it to white>red or white>blue even! Just
something more vibrate instead of saturated. Maybe even toning down the
yellow to an amber?
Adding to that suggestion- would be to have the colour correspond with the
knights colour chosen at the beginning?"
It is a small change but one I believe would make a difference ^_^
Personally, I never had problem with charging, even without any sounds, but I'll give this a +1 either way since it may help other players and shouldn't be too hard for the devs to implement.
