Sweet. Some spice added to Decon zones, which were previously quite lame.

Do they actually appear on regular decon zones or just on special missions there?

That's interesting that

That's interesting that they're constructs, I don't remember seeing a damage difference when hitting them with my Ach vs Volty, though I could be wrong on this.

Also some types at least have the ability to heal allies.

I've seen one in a regular

I've seen one in a regular decon zone exactly once. It was sitting off in a corner, I almost completed the map without finding it but I decided to do one last check for any missed enemies.

Anyway, I probably missed some abilities when making that page because the normal battlepod seems to have a lot of variants. To make it even more complicated, the status variants also have their own move sets, I've only fought fire and poison, and we don't know their names. x_x

In the missions, I hit them

In the missions, I hit them with a flourish, and the numbers appeared normal.

Maybe classify the battlepods as Drones then?

If they have no weaknesses then maybe they are like the drones, which also have no weaknesses (but no resistance either).

I managed to get Yellow Numbers with my Combuster, so I don't think it's a Drone. It might be a Bug, though.

Nicoya is right. If you have a damage bonus on your sword, it can skew the numbers. Sometimes I do blue damage on Fiends with my Final Flourish when I have MAX Sword damage, even though it does more than the normal orange damage I do.

At least, it seems to be that way...in my personal experience.

There are elemental types as

There are elemental types as well.

A the poison type expels a large poison haze every so often, also it sits out poison balls of sludge en mass.

And higher level version of the normal ones have Tier 2 rocket puppy missiles.

Battlepods are the greatest

Battlepods are the greatest things ever... and I'm very very glad that OOO made them. Best part of the mission update by far.
