I think in SK there should be a place where you can test different Armour sets, swords, ect. anyway it would be cool and it would help you decide what you want as you're next Armour set, sword, ect.
Testing area
I thought thats the purpose of the Advanced Training Hall
OP means to test out gear you don't already have.
Which is what I meant by that this should be the Hall of Heroes.
+1
Something like this, I'm hoping.

yes just like a place where you can test gear you want as your next set
To be honest, I think the chances of implementation are quite low.
Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind this either. But when I think about it, getting a weapon means using CE (most of the time), not wanting it means WASTING that ce and moving on to get something worthwhile, while maybe repeating the same mistakes. (excluding field testing, failing and ce reving)
And the more CE used, the more $ OOO gets (You guys know how to expand that already so I won't waste your time reading it)
With this though, people can make smarter choices on the gear they're going to use, therefore waste less ce, therefore less $ for OOO.
I'm just tossing that argument out there. Otherwise I'm all for this idea.
@Psycho:
So many players already check the forums and wiki for the 'goto' gear before they even make their first Knight. That's how a lot of MMO players roll nowadays, especially in the F2P crowd.
A 'weapon test' area wouldn't give them any advantage in that respect. It would just let them fool around and look cool. I'd even argue that such a feature would bait people outside the above category into spending CE recklessly because there's quite a few options that only look and feel amazing when nothing's trying to kill you while you're using them.
EDIT: A good example: I became a Troika convert on my main Knight after testing one in the ATH but I've more often switched back to Calibur for demanding sections of strata (i.e. Big T only seemed like a dream blade at first). Same with my Autogun and Blaster. I wager that I would've been MUCH more desperate for moolah if I'd started with a Suda or Blitz Needle instead...
Good point.
So the 'this looks awesome, but so does this! OMGAWESOMESAUCE GOTTAGETEMALL' scenario?
That works.
This is what they should change the Hall of Heroes into.
