In some cases a graphics card will fall into a compatibility mode with it disabled and may not be able to perform the necessary graphics commands for running Spiral Knights.
What graphics card are you trying to use with Spiral Knights in any case? I suspect that an AGP card may be old enough that there could be pre-existing compatibility issues anyway.
