Ever gone into the clockworks only to realize that your shield isn't equipped, or that all your weapon slots are not filled up? I have and it has caused me to die more than I would have.

Solution: When you walk onto a lift a warning pops up reading: Your shield is not equipped/you have open weapon slots do you wish to continue? y/n

effectively giving you the opportunity to go back and quickly equip the said items without blocking those who do it on purpose.

On most floors, excluding boss floors after the first, there is a loadout station at the beginning of the floor. Keeping yourself equipped is your own responsibility.

Well, there is no negative effects to this. It doesn't happen often but it does happen, so +1.

Yeah, thats what we need,

Yeah, thats what we need, MORE popups and MORE windows appearing making us waste MORE time on accepting even MORE pointless confirmation windows.

And why? Because some people have short (nonexistent) attention span, they cant control what are they doing, they forget what they did 1,2-5 minutes ago or focusing on something they do is just TOO much for them.

-1 to pointless and annoying confirmations made just because of not very clever people

To be quite honest, that's

To be quite honest, that's the point of the Arsenal Stations, since the devs placed them everywhere, subtowns included, to let the player know that they can change their equipment if needed.

If you're running around and notice "HEY I DON'T HAVE A SHIELD ON ME," you should probably be a lot more observant of yourself.

... Why would you have your

... Why would you have your shield unequipped? LD no longer keeps it unequipped when you leave, so I don't see why this would even happen...

"Does your clock warns you have no pants before going to work/school? :p"
^ This is pretty much what you're asking for :P

-1 I'd rather have the developers work on more useful/practical things.

I think some people unequip their shields for a certain aesthetic in Haven, but I think I agree with what's been said so far in everyone's responses (that is, I'm rather against this).

Yeah, I can see why someone is complaining about the suggestion forum being full of dream killers.

1. This is a warning in case of the said instance. short answer: stuff happens if you want examples here they are:
When you upgrade a weapon/shield it gets removed from ALL of your loadouts. When you first encounter thus problem you might think it is isolated to that specific loadout.
2.There are instances when you jump in to a team that is already in progress, for example, in KOA there is only one arsenal station and that is in the very first level in. If you join a team already in progress you will not find an arsenal station.

Also, you guys have no say in being responsible. Spending your time playing games on the internet is in itself irresponsible. I don't play this game to be responsible. I play this game to have a chance to be carefree and have some fun.
Finally, this does not take much programming. I could program this myself. This will not take too much of the dev's time and it will take exactly 2.7 seconds of your life IF you don't have those things equipped and since you all are so responsible this will take 0 seconds of your life.

I fail to see how this does more harm than good. I think its a good idea.

"Yeah, I can see why someone is complaining about the suggestion forum being full of dream killers."

Don't worry about Asukalan, he's always like that.

When you upgrade a weapon/shield it gets removed from ALL of your loadouts. When you first encounter thus problem you might think it is isolated to that specific loadout.

That is very true. But there needs to be a more generic support for loadouts. Perhaps the noshield problem can be fixed by correcting this first.

There are instances when you jump in to a team that is already in progress, for example, in KOA there is only one arsenal station and that is in the very first level in. If you join a team already in progress you will not find an arsenal station.

This is more emphasized when you get random invites, and especially so when you're in a rush. Some of the people in this thread are mentioning how programming one pop up window would "take up precious developer time". As far as I know, developers aren't hard-pressed for time, can work on multiple projects at once, and not to mention 5 lines of code really does not take up very much time at all.

Also, you guys have no say in being responsible. Spending your time playing games on the internet is in itself irresponsible. I don't play this game to be responsible. I play this game to have a chance to be carefree and have some fun.

Also, players (like myself) stay up quite late playing this game, and with tiredness comes forgetfulness :)

I'm not frequently crafting new equipment all the time and leaning on loadouts so this wouldn't affect me as much, but I know people out there who grind quite a lot for new stuff that would appreciate something like this.

And, as always, there should be a "do not show this message again" option.

Here is a better solution.

I think there is some validity to parts of this concept, as well as validity to the counter-argument that popup windows are no substitute for game awareness.

That being said, costume loadouts and battle loadouts could be dually equippable, and activate based on whether one is in a hostile or non-hostile environment. In other words, you could equip your "costume" at the same time as your "standard battle gear;" when in Haven the costume would be your loadout, and if you joined a friend in the Clockworks you would instantly equip your battle stuff.

The primary difficulty is that when INVITED by a friend, the invitation popup window appears instantly and gives no option to change gear; so it's really quite easy to accept a friend's offer without remembering to switch equipment -- and often the invite takes you straight to the middle of a level. This would be a simple workaround. (Another workaround would be to improve the invite popup window to include a "you are currently equipped with " label and an "equip new loadout" button as well).

There should be a "hide" option which minimizes the request. Switch your loadout and hit the speech bubble near the top left corner to reopen the request.
