4 outta 5 Spiral Medics recommend using this equipment. The fifth one was killed by a Tortodrone with glossy hair and whiter teeth.

The Vitasuit and it's older brothers currently have two scenarios of which it is used; in Tier 1, where defenses don't really mean much, and on the backs of people like Hexzyle, who slap on a Deluxe and attempt to be an extension of their teammates healthbars. How could we make the suit more useful? Simple!

On a cosmetic note, I would like these COSMETIC changes to occur to the Vitasuit armors; http://gyazo.com/070d825445246e1b60469c3ada46130a Not really necessary, but the game already has different colored Vitasuits, so it would be neat to have more prismatic ones. The piece of "armor" strapped on looks like it SHOULD be matching the respective grey/dark grey/white armor parts. ANYHOW...

First off, according to Oatmonster's Law, health is never created, only transfered. While the suits do give a rather nice health bonus, it does not necessarily balance the fact that the best thing it defends against is a small box with a siren on top of it.

Now, I'm not sayin' give it more defenses, but give it somethin' to offset this tradeoff. Like what? SIMPLE!

http://gyazo.com/c0d846612d4a9acaaa6ab15edece9226 THE PICTURES of the helms. Ignore the shields, I was too lazy to crop them out. The heart symbol is in place of the symbol on the Iron Valkyrie Helmet, and the halo is replaced with a metal cross. If the design is too boring, then replace the Mechawings with Mec'tennas and remove the cross.

Helmets have the same stats as their respective suits. Each piece of the set rewards a fraction of a heart for every heart picked up. Example: the Vitasuit will now reward 1.1 bars of health for every 'single' heart recieved.

0* Variant: Vitasuit/Vitacap
Heart bonus per Piece: X.1666666665
Full set provides:
Single: 1 1/3 bars
Double: 2 2/3 bars
Triple: 4 bars

2* Variant: Vitasuit Plus/Vitacap Plus
Heart bonus per Piece: x.25
Full set provides:
Single: 1 1/2 bars
Double: 3 bars
Triple: 4 1/2 bars

4* Variant: Vitasuit Deluxe/Vitacap Deluxe
Heart bonus per Piece: x.5
Full set provides:
Single: 2 bars
Double: 4 bars
Triple: 6 bars

This, coupled with the massive heart bonus, essentially makes the wearer able to gain a lot of health back quickly, along with share a lot of health with their allies, making it somewhat useful for solo, and rather useful for a party.

But what are the cons to this? The Vitasuits themselves already came WITH massive cons.
-No specialized defense, meaning that every hit is like being shot in the face with a hi-tech Pirate cannon in the cold with a spiked cannon ball
-No status defense, which means you practically burn to death everytime you're set on fire in FSC
-The highest amount of normal defense you'll ever recieve is the same as a Mightly Cobalt Helm, but WITHOUT piercing resist
-People will call you DOKTOR or call out MEDIC, which will make you inexplicably feel slightly more German

For people who want to stay back and help out their teammates, this is a set for you!

Questions? Comments? Thoughts?

Set effects

For a health buffing shield we already have Scarlet. It multiplies your health by a ratio? No, imagine that in T3 where everyone has fifteen base from two H10 5* helmet and armor, then add potential +12 health from trinkets, then add the +9-20 batteries/Vitapods picked up; With any H10 5* set that results in 47 bars.

Has everyone forgotten of a certain set with a helmet and armor which gives eight bars each at H10 with no special defense but high normal? These already exist for high health, use them.

I would support the idea of creating a matching counterpart for loner equipment but its use means someone in the party is only there as a pile of health to withdraw from; everyone would rather have someone to help in combat. If you want combat support see vaporizer bombs and non disruptive guns.

I appreciate your effort, though this thread will not be graded, but we already have high health equipment; the common problem with it is its availability.

I would GREATLY enjoy a vitacap to increase my health even further. But as for increasing the amount of health you pick up/increasing max health by multiple sounds a little OP and a wierd alteration to game mechanics.
Since armors are no stronger than their helmet counterparts, and use the exact same materials to craft in most cases (quite different to a lot of other RPG games where the body armour always gives more defense than the helmet) then the helmets should give the exact same health bonus as the armours.

Anyway, great reskin of the heavenly iron, I would never have thought of it. I was thinking a white demo helm, but you've done it a lot better here.
Only problem is, I'd rather that the 0* and maybe the 2* versions to not use that model, or would use a base version of it: Let's leave those awesome models for tier 3, hey?

@Luguiru
Yes, I use non-disruptive guns and vapos in conjunction with my vitasuit. It's great for runs with PUGs where I can vampire off thier hopelessly dropped heat or when running with people who are new to tier 2 or 3. But I didn't know of the ancient plate mail's huge health bonus. I'll look into getting one.

Support gun use makes sense with Vitasuit variants, but a vaporizer without significant charge is fairly limiting. I would rather use Volcanic/Mad Bomber for the +4 charge in junction with a H10 5* vaporizer for max charge than have a couple more bars of health; then again, guns are designed to support from a safe distance.

Heat vampirism, I hear that; if they die every few seconds against a single Lumber they are not going to use their heat for anything useful. This would make sense in T1 and T2 for more experienced users, but in T3 you have to survive to keep that heat. In the first stratum for T3 this would be fine and dandy, frolicing around while everyone dies so you can suck the heat out of them; eventually users prefer being able to fend for themselves rather than pour health into someone to rip the heat out of them. I am referring to Vanaduke runs, not T3 Wolver Den sort of difficulty.

Ancient Plate takes movement and attack speeds away from the user in exchange for high normal defense and health; it essentially makes you a melee tank.
