Enemy 1: Gremlin War Walker (Gremlin)
Originally designed for mining, the Gremlins have turned a number of these lumbering machines into weapons of war in the hopes of beating back the Spiral Order.
Appearance:
A large humanoid walker the size of a Trojan, one arm has a large grabbing claw while the other one ends in a large drill, on its back the Walker carries a Box filled with Mines. The Gremlin pilot sits in the center of the machine.
Tier 1: Basic Model
Tier 2: Same as Tier 1, but with extra bits of armour welded onto it and a meaner looking drill.
Tier 3: Heavily armoured, as this one was made for fighting. It has a Laser Drill and a shoulder-mounted Rocket Launcher, the Box has been replaced with an ammo rack that carries the Rockets.
Attack 1: A 3-hit combo consisting of a lunge with the drill, a grab with the claw (whilst pulling the drill arm back) and then an overhead smash with the drill that embeds it into the ground. Each new Tier gets 1 part of the combo (so Tier 1 only does the drill lunge, while Tier 3 does the full combo.)
Attack 2: Reaches into the Box and takes out a mine, which it then throws at the target, at Tier 2 it throws several mines and in Tier 3 it fires a Rocket from its shoulder launcher.

Enemy 2: Castling (Fiend)
Appearance:
Whereas the Trojans resemble humanoid Chess Knights, the Castlings resemble humanoid Chess Rooks, they are about the height of a Mecha Knight (albeit bulkier due to their frame), have a head resembling a Castle Tower and carry two-handed hammers.
Tier 1: Basic Model
Tier 2: Similar to Tier 1, but wears more armour.
Tier 3: Wears heavier armour than Tier 2, and its Hammer (and parts of the armour) have glowing runes on them.
Attack 1: A swing of the hammer, followed by a forward jab (as much as one can jab with a hammer anyway...)
Attack 2: The Castling flips its hammer 180 degrees (so that the Weighted end is nearest the ground) and slams it into the ground, creating a status Mist similar to that made by Greavers, at Tier 3 it also spits out 4 bullets in an 'X' formation (as opposed to the Mecha-Knights '+' formation.) Tier 2 & 3 only.
Variants:
Shock: [Not certain, feel free to suggest.]
Fire (Blazing Castling:) Has a desert stone colour with Bronze armour, its head also holds a Brazier.
Poison (Crumbling Castling:) Has patches of moss covering it, seems to be in a state of partial decay.
Frost (Frozen Castling:) Has patches of ice covering it, with cracks in its body where Ice has melted and re-frozen in the past.

No longer relevant in this form, see here for updated versions.

Enemy 4: Monitor (Construct)
Small, lightly armed surveillance robots built by the Gremlins so that they can more easily keep track of what goes on in the Clockwork tunnels
Appearance:
A round ball slightly smaller than a Knight's head that fly via a Rotor blade built-in to their body, similar to the wings of a Snipe. They have a single large glowing eye.
Tier 1: Basic Model
Tier 2: Now has a small gun mounted onto the bottom and a small aerial on top of it.
Tier 3: More armour, a better gun and a small laser pointer next to its eye.
Attack 1: Bumps into the Knight, cutting them with its rotor, this attack has poor reach and damage but is very fast.
Attack 2 (Tiers 2 & 3): Fires a single bullet from its cannon at Tier 2, fires a 3-shot burst (one after the other, not all at once) at Tier 3.
Attack 3 (Tier 3 only): The Monitor begins to mark a Knight with its laser pointer over several seconds (during which the Monitor cannot move), upon a successful Mark the Knight in question has their defenses reduced for a period of time*. This attack is broken by any damage (like a Zombie's breath attack is)
*There might be something like this in Lockdown already? I don't do PvP so I wouldn't know.
Variants:
Status Monitors are distinguished by having different coloured eyes, much like Status Scuttlebots are.
Shock: Generator Monitor
Fire: Furnace Monitor
Poison: Recycling Monitor
Frost: Coolant Monitor
These could be used as minibosses for Clockwork based series of floors to encourage the community to go back to the Arcade instead of spamming Vanaduke. For those who remember Toxilargo before the T3 mission update, it was exclusively encountered in the Clockworks in a certain stratum as a miniboss. If these minibosses dropped certain materials required to craft new equipment, these materials exclusively being available through these minibosses, the community would be swayed to obtain the new equipment by running the Clockworks and resorting to missions to grind out their ranks or to do boss runs rather than as the primary source of entertainment. This would mean several new branches of equipment to run for, meaning new recipes to find; but would these recipes be available in the Hall of Heroes? No, they should only be available through Basil as boss recipes are restricted. The community would see the new equipment and want it, then jump into the Arcade to satisfy itself. As for the content of this thread, it seems to well suit the need for challenging the community as well as introducing upgraded versions of a few enemies which currently exist while introducing new mechanics.
