How about an individual theme for each boss? The Snarbolax's could be creepy, giving the impression of an animal on the hunt. The Roarmulus Twins' could be more technological with lots of mechanical sound in the background. The JK's could be more lighthearted and regal, but changes to a faster paced, more... actiony song after the crown breaks, and Vanaduke's could stay the same with a couple of improvements. The same theme for all 4 when there's only four of them is a bit... boring and uninspired.
Music
I can work on some music...
Post some requests & descriptions of what you want...
Here's an example of one random thing I did..

So here's the rough draft of the intro to the royal jelly battle. It's so short because the crown tends to get knocked off rather quickly. It's crappy because I have a crappy program...
I just mute out all music when playing the game and play my own...
Not bad, Marvin. If it were Spiral-Knight-ized, it'd be perfect for his viscousness himself.
The Seerus fight theme, of course, could be what Meta Ridley's theme is to Ridley's theme: faster-paced, with techno sounds in between. Razwog (boss of the new tutorial) uses the boss theme; should he get something else, like that old unused Gremlin theme? Also, SL bosses. Should they stay the same music-wise, get a Swarmy remix, or a new theme entirely?
But, guarder, some of us listen to the ingame music.
Also realize that this is the first part, while the jelly still has his crown. I'm writing a different theme for when the crown is broken.
EDIT: also realize that I can't work off of "Pretty good they should use this." It's not good enough. I need constructive criticism here, people! Luguiru, help me out!
I am not one for music; I too partake in playing my own music while playing rather than listening to the default most of the time. After derpbillion times of doing the exact same floor the music gets stale sometimes. "What do you listen to?" That depends on my mood, but this is amongst the mix. As for your work, I applaud your effort; however it does seem slightly slow and repetitive. Unlike most users you actually did something rather than whine or harass respondents for not doing the work for you. If you want proper feedback you would have to find someone who knows more about music.
lol, those tribal drums & music you hear in wolver dens should be used in snarby
You want different music? Make it.
