SO recently, i added a fellow with 9 energy to my tab (elevators only), thinking I'd loose just 1 energy. During the next level, I cut him off my tab but I noticed his display changed from 'out of energy' to 'at least 10 energy', but I had spent 10 energy on his elevator. When someone else had tabbed my, my energy was consumed first. Have the mechanics of the tab changed, or should I have tabbed him for everything? Seriously though, it DOES make more sense that he finish his energy before my tab comes into the picture.

Look at it like this.

Why should I pay 10 energy for someone with 9? He could pay 9 and I'd pay just 1. Seems a better way to spend energy: Pay as much as you can.

Why? Because... you "Tab

Why? Because... you "Tab him"?

Its not "Ill pay the rest"

Except in situations where the knight in question gets added to someone's tab but does actually have the energy for the lift. Your suggestion would prevent the option from working in that scenario. That and you picking up the tab should infer that you're willing to pay the full cost.

At most I'd support an additional option to share lift costs or something to that effect, but not to change the behaviour of the existing option.
