Line up Punch Gun / Pummel Gun with Magnus

by having them also proc stun, instead of having that bizarre vs. constructs UV.

idk, I think it'd help increase new player use of the lines, and they're pretty cool weapons.

yes, yes and another yes.

this should have been implemented a looooonng time ago. it doesnt make sense to not aligned them. just like firecracker is aligned to an mk, this too should be aligned from 1 to 5 star.

Are most of you people crazy?

OOO removed anyline from 1 to 5 for a reason.

Rage-crafting. The haze line was Stun 1*- All the other lines branching from there. It was then changed to its current state.

The Magnus is Piercing.

The Punch line is Normal.

It's also goes from 0 to 1.

You guys read it wrong, OP

You guys read it wrong, OP just wants Pummel and Punch to stun instead of a damage bonus, not add them to the Magnus line.

I don't know where you guys got that it should all be made one line..... what the OP is suggesting, is to make them function the same way, so that players can 'test drive', if you will, the magnus line via the punch line.

Yeah; the idea was just to extend the Stun status, not to encourage ridiculous mass-crafting of broken UVs.

I mean, Stun is borked, but if we're letting folks test-drive status-boost armours, and weapons with similar attack styles as regular 2* or higher ones, why not line up this last one so it's similar?

I mean, vs. constructs is an interesting choice, leading them more towards turret-interruption, but I wouldn't mind seeing them act more similarly to their 'grown-up' cousins.

sorry i didnt read ur post right, i had just been caught off guard because i had being raging internally that punch gun should have been related in crafting to the magnus line.

the only thing i have against ur idea, is that magnus stun effect is suppose to be unique that it cases stun as a 3 star weapon. if you were to make punch also have stun, it would remove the fact that magnus is an evolve version or more useful weapon then the punch gun besides its more damage input. its the same way that as u increase the brandish line from 3 star to 5 star, the lenght of the wave it produces increses range from 3 explosions to 5 explosions. so if you were to make punch line have stun, it would be the same as saying that when u advance a weapon through its line, all it does is increase the damage or get a possible uv bonus. Its like your saying as you advance a weapon, it doesnt gain any abilities as it progresses to 5*. so i think leaving them the way they are is better than changing them.

He means just add stun. Similar to Thwack Hammer/Proto Bomb's/Super and Normal Stun Guns stun.

Like how the Zapper and co act like blasters and Hatchets act like troikas with the suda line.

Also, almost every 3 hit sword with brandish Explosions.

my point is this:

_if you have the punch gun have stun, it would let new users get use to the magnus line for future uses and also help new users get extra help.

_dont put stun in punch gun, it wouldn't let new users get use to the magnust line, but it will let new users feel that the magnus gun is a better weapon then the punch gun and be more happier that the stun is not distributed to the weapons that the user had when the user just started the game. making the player feel like the player got what the player worked for, and the player would feel better knowing that the player doesn't have the same weapon as new player who started the game.

Meet the Bolted Blade And Proto Sword and all 3 hit 1*/0* swords

Same combo and charge as the formerly exclusive brandish line.

Meet the Hot/Searing and Static/Shocking Edge lines.

Again, same combo and charge as the Brandish. Infact, can deal Status like the Combuster and Voltedge in a similar charge.

So, the dmg is already done. Infact, a lot of Attacks have been reused with others.

So why not the Punch Line?

OP, please be more clear.

If you have played this game while the haze bombs were 1*, you wouldn't say this. Really, you just would see a UV on every frekin haze bomb.

But not line them up in it.

Like the Edge lines act similar to the Brandish lines.

He just wants stun added on them.
