Poison's 'blandness' is annyoing me too. I find it hard to find a situation where I can apply it in positively. Mostly its just useless really, using it adds nothing to my situation.

AHA A MENDER! WAIT, WHERE'S MY POISON?!
I tend to not have poison to throw when i actually find a wing of mender. I ignore/threw em away because of it's rather uselessnesseseses.

Posion is a bad status if
Posion is a bad status if you're an offensive player, but it's great for support bombers.
First, it makes enemies weaker. If you have teammates with weak armor, then you'll all live longer. But more importantly: it doesn't just *stop* monsters from healing- it actually makes the healers do damage. In the last room of an arena, it's hard to reach and kill healers. Poison makes them fight for you; I've cleared many arenas safely just by running around dropping my venom veiler while a team of menders area heals my foes to death.

Yeah the "blandness" I think lies in the fact that all it really does is last a long time without really changing much. I mean, I get that when things try to recover it likes to kick in, get in the way of that, and instead damage things, but I kind of feel like the "blandness" could be maybe fixed if the poison went out with more of a bang in the future. I think Psycho's idea in that other thread is a good start...

Poison is great against enemies which heal or have obnoxious health/defense. Other statusesusesusesuses hippopotamuses are useful in other situations, though shock tends to be the most versatile.
