Why would the speed go up up up, and then drop at the end?
Also, making it an Elemental/Piercing sword kind of ruins the system thus far as far as choosing your damage types goes. Wolvers, for example, would take extra damage from the piercing, and next to nothing from the elemental [reverse for constructs]. Fiends would take extra from piercing and normal from elemental, which would be no different than having piercing/normal [reverse for undead]. Slimes would take normal damage from elemental and lowered damage from piercing [reverse for gremlins]. Since the bonus damage for using the right type is about 25%, and the reduction for using the wrong type is around 75%, in the end you just have a wierd, and weak sword.
Lastly, although the musical names are fun, the idea of castrati is kind of gross and makes me shiver a little, and no one wants a sword by that name. I hope.

Okay, one more thing. There are currently swords in the game that can handle every situation. Although they could make some slow piercing swords, or some more shadow swords, it is not necessary. Three rings time is better spent developing playable content, rather than more options for something that doesn't need it.
