Hello,

I would first like to say that you have a very enjoyable game and I enjoy spending time on it, good job, guys.

Now, I am a very cosmetically minded player. I love outfits, costumes, colours and drawing. Nothing is more important to me than style and the impression you give off. So, I have a few ideas to increase the enjoyablity of players who are like-minded and want to look good while playing.

1) More ASCII support. This is the least imporant of all the topics I'm bringing up today. I'm a very 'colourful' person when interacting with others--I love dropping ♥'s and ✿'s into text. However, right now there is very restricted support for these characters. Not all of these are purely expressional either. I once tried to tell someone they needed ★★★★☆ min to enter the bottom of the dungeon. but the stars were not supported. This may be petty, but I'd love to see a widening support for these characters.

2) Next thing I'd like to talk about is the knight colour changing option. I'm the type of person who, as I said, loves colours. However, you're charging 50,000CR for a service that changes colour once (and which I assume requires no human interaction). 50,000 is a hefty price for what is just a simple colour change. Looking at the Auction House, you can buy a ★★★☆☆ star boss-drop weapon, ★★★★★ 2 recipes, or 600 Crystal Energy for the same price. Now, I'm not saying we can't make this reasonable. My suggestion for this is to change the colours to make each colour unlimited use so players can collect every colour and just swap them as they see fit.

3) Name changes at the moment are resvered to players breaking the Terms and Conditions. I'd suggest adding a name change to the colour vendor, so people like myself can change names. Right now I would love to change my name to BubbleKitty, as I now have kitty ears and a tail and bubblebunny doesn't work for a kitty.

4) When you are given a random accessory from buying CE packs, allow the players to change the item to a certain one in exchange for their new item being untradeable. This would mean that players who love dressing up don't have to dance around the loop, of finding a player selling their object and exchanging object A for object B and sometimes CE also comes into the trade to keep it balanced. It wouldn't affect the market as players who don't buy CE will still buy off AH and those selling cannot exchange for the object that sells the most as it would be made untradable. This is an exchange that cosmetic players would like very much.

5) When you unbind an accessory from an object, DON'T HAVE IT BE DESTROYED! This is a problem. When you can spend 2,100,000 (current price of an aura selling) on a object that would be destroyed if you unequipped it, it is ghastly. You're talking 26,200 CE, which is approximately $80 wasted if you remove the aura. This is just terrible for players. Right now you Charge CE to destroy things that are worth thousands of CE on their own. This isn't a good thing. Please make this reasonable. Bind it to the account/make it untradeable after use, but don't charge us for destroying objects that are so expensive.

6) Have more feminine armour available. Right now only 2 helms make you recognisable as female: one is the starting helm and the other is the angelic sets. I'd like to see more female-style helm/body combos.

7) Make returning to normal size free. Example; you've just spent 250,000 CR to buy extra small/extra large. You apply it and don't like the results. You go to undo it, and then get charged an extra 50,000CR. This is just going to make your bad day worse.

8) Box keys need to choose either 700 or 800 for a price. This is a personal gripe, I dislike uneven numbers. You can sell your CE to 0 or raise it, but round numbers look neater. (99cent/penny stores suck)

9) Give 'eye' objects a menu. the eyes you supply all have moods that go with them, it seams natural to allow a player to buy eyes and then change them to match their moods. This could be done by either making eyes unlimited use again (costume part of the items menu might be good to hold them), or just giving them their own little interface. Much like the colours, this applies. but also bear in mind that emotions from boxes go into 100,000s regularly.

Thanks for reading this huge list of suggestions. I'll keep an eye on this thread, I'd enjoy feedback from other players about these ideas but I'd even more like to hear from you guys, as knowing that things I suggest are being implemented makes me happy.

Ok lets see here.

1. I don't see a problem with that, I would use it.

2.No to unlimited, it is meant to be a crownsink. Though I do agree to them having more than one use, 3 maybe.

3. That has been suggested before several times, look at one of those threads to see reason why it wouldn't work to well.

4. Seems alright, though should have a small fee.

5. If it has a fee to keep it without destroying it, like maybe 10K crowns, why not.

6. Won't affect me that much being a guy, but why not.

7. Make it cheaper, not free, 15K maybe?

8. Thats a personal thing, though 700 may be a bit better of a price.

9. See 2.

Overall, not a bad thread. Could Use a little work, but alright.

Unlimited (Why?) & #3

The reason I say unlimited is because 50,000 CR per a colour/eye style is still a high charge. You're looking at 1,200,000 CR for colours, and the eyes are even more expensive.

I went back to try and find your reason why #3 won't work. The only thing I found was a post that you approved on 4/18/2012 (19:20)(page 33) about a system to change your name. If it was approved then, may I ask the reason it would not work now?

I there what you did see

You may want to see this.

As "interesting" as having more symbols available through the chat, decorated conversation is not necessarily a basis for an update; I know this first point is not intended to be too significant but on the front line there are very few silly people who would throw symbols at people. I personally prefer to illustrate expression through words by pouring various buckets of vibrant paint all over people when they are not looking and then rolling around in puddles of it after the paint has dripped from them. You probably just imagined what that would look like.

The color changing option was implemented after many many many many mimes screaming at Three Rings because they did not realize once they made their knight there was no way to undo what they did. The problem with this is mimes do not talk so it took a while to implement. There is a price tag on changing colors because they do not want people to run around and change their color like I change my socks; though I prefer to walk around barefoot so I can grab people by the face with my foot and flip them upside down so they stand on their head. Note that I do not walk around flipping people upside down for entertainment, it only happens occasionally. By this I mean whenever I manage to escape the cushioned box they have me locked up in. They bring me treats sometimes if I go an hour without headbutting anyone.

The best we have and should ever get is the current method: make a new knight, start playing them. Otherwise people like me could run around and mess with everyone, then change their name and color from earlier and be a completely different person. Imagine prison break refugees. Now imagine giving them a top surgeon to reimage them. Now imagine they turn into a spider-walrus. You certainly did not expect that.

This would be more of a "reroll" of the gamble applied by the random accessory/cosmetic promotional energy packs. If they did do this, regardless if the second draw were the last attempt allowed or being untradable, it would have to cost something to do this. There are no second chances. There are also no cashews around here. Apparently they make me headbutt people more than I normally do.

From the perspective of how I normally am on the forum, the price to save that accessory would be at least 20% of what was paid to obtain it. From the perspective of how I am in the game, I would tape a "I have lizards in my pockets" sign on the back of the first perspective and quietly giggle next to it. From the perspective of anyone else I should cut that out and decide on what a reasonable set price would be to implement the ability to save accessories from removal destruction. Yes, it would have to cost something to do this. No, there are not actually lizards in my pockets. I checked.

There are certain reasons against this. One of them is inappropriate to even mention because anyone who has been around the Internet for more than a week knows what I would refer to. Instead I have only one phrase for you: "no exceptions".

They want you to be certain you want to be a midget/giant when you pay to be a midget/giant. Are you sure you want to be tiny/enormous? Are you really sure? Are you sure as Shirley? Are you sure as Shirley eating sherbert ice cream? Okay, no take-backs, herp derp.

Considering the $50 energy pack gets you 20kCE, you get 400CE per buck. The key is 750CE. That means if you get your energy through the big pack it costs $1.875 (~$1.88) for a key. Does that make you feel better?

This one would encourage more people to get different eyes, even though the few freebie ones for new knights are somewhat plain. I got the spiraling ones for my own knight but I rarely notice them in combat, not that I normally stare at myself in the Clockworks, and in town I have to stand in front of the auction or open up my loadout. I would also have to wear a helmet which shows my eyes. But if my menus had spiralesque squiggles and what not I would be more inclined to at least spin round people in town instead of rolling around in Wakfu. Not that this applies to everyone, but the way eyes work right now only appeals to the sort who grind for hats in TF2. Hats! Hats everywhere!

Smashing my face in this wall makes me happy. I even made a dent underneath the cushioning. They had to keep me in another room while they fixed it for a few days. The same spot is now reinforced with thick layers of steel.

Glad to see you are enjoying the game Bubble!

Hey there Bubble! I'm really glad you're enjoying your stay on Cradle as much as I am. I'm going to respond to each of your suggestions individually and give them my personal plus or minus:
1) ASCII Support: Heck yes, who doesn't want to be able to flip tables in joy?
(╯°v°)╯︵ ┻━┻ (ら°v°)わ +1!
2) As it stands currently, I have yet to use a Color Change because I am rather pleased with the Player Color I selected initially. I do however entirely support this suggestion for the following reason; There are a number of items rendered fashionable daft dependent upon your current player color. Were Color Changes moved from the Usable tab into the Costumes tab, along with given the ability to be "equipped as costume," many players would be more interested in spending those fifty-thousand Crowns for a new alternative look to their Knight.
Fashion sense +1!
3) I was personally surprised this request was not supported. I personally know someone who would have appreciated a name change prior to growing fond of the game. I also have seen a number of players who's names appear to be a random string of letters, these players may not intend for their character to be permanent, however if these trial Knights could simply rename themselves, this would circumvent lost playtime.
People change their names legally, let Knights do the same. +1!
4) Allowing a player to trade a Cool Promotional Accessory for a Knightbound Prismatic Promotional Accessory completely defeats the purpose of making specific Accesory Styles less easily obtainable. If this sort of trade-in ability were available, the demand for these intentionally rare items would drop significantly. I commend you promoting Costume Building, but this takes away from it for me.
Everyone can dress fashionably, high-fashion is only for those willing to pay for it. -1!
5) Please, oh please yes. I don't want to blow up my dandy little Canteen so I can wear this rad new Parrying Blade on my Platemail! I want to put the Canteen on my Fencing Jacket. It seems silly to have to build up two five-star armors of the same type just so one can have a pair of Cool Wings while the other has Heavy Wings. Similarly, how about the players who spend countless amounts of Crowns or Crystal Energy on a rare Wolver Tail, only to observe the new promotional Cat Tail that you now want to replace it with. Similarly to the Military Canteen I wish I still had, that players expensive recent purchase would not go to waste.
Let me keep these cheapie accessories I buy to tide me over! +1!
6) I can't say I am against this, but it's certainly not something I would promote over your other suggestions. Firstly, I would love to point you to the Firebreak set, you forgot about that in your list of currently feminine armors. Secondly, the Plume accessory is available for addition to any helmet with a Helmet Back Accessory Slot. Lastly, with the addition of Eye Changes it has become possible to distinguish gender through any open-faced helm.
Not for or against it. +/-0!
7) Let me first of all ask this, where are you getting those Height Modifiers at that price? Anyways, in response to your suggestion; I suppose I could get behind this, however the Normal Height Modifiers would have to be taken out of the Mirrored Lockboxes loot tables. I don't really feel like this is a valuable suggestion however, because I don't believe the scenario you described is very realistic.
They made a Preview feature for a reason in this game. +/-0!
8) I don't feel I need to justify not supporting this suggestion. +/-0!
9) Refer to response for Suggestion 2. Eyes, along with Color Changes, should be turned into Costume items. +1!

There you have it, my feedback to your stream of suggestions. Keep up the great ideas, Cradle more beautiful because of you!!
