Anyone who has played Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess or at least has seen it on youtube knows where i'm going with this.

i got this idea when me and a friend of mine were waiting for an arena to show up in an arcade run (thats right i still use the arcade) he mention he liked LoZ, and I being a fan myself started talking. We eventually got to the CoO subject, and it hit me. Could SK be able to have a 4 player SK version of the Cave of Ordeals?

If SK were to have something similar to the CoO that can hold four players, it would have to have some restrictions.

The Cave of Ordeals is a test of the players endurance, to see how far he/she can go before they die. In SK, the closest to the CoO is the arenas, even though they only have 3 rooms of increasing difficulty.

In the SK version, lets call it the "Clockworks Cavern" (CC), when you first enter, you will be in a room similar to a terminal, only instead of health spawns, you'd have spawns for various bottles, 4 random numbered vitapods, and maybe a mecha knight spawn (only 2 knights can be on the field at a time however, so the first two have to die first to prevent overcrowding). When you've collected your gear, and everyone is ready, you move to the elevator and begin the brawl. There'd be only one room, with 4-6 waves plus a final wave, and a treasure room for your victory. The treasure room however has no health spawns, so you move on with whatever health you got. You keep on going down into more and more rooms until everyone dies or you reach the final floor (maybe the same as the core?)

of course, if you feel like youve had enough, then you can always take the elevator up and save what heat/crowns youve gathered.

Hope to read your comments!

Sounds like Gauntlet with elevators between rooms and free supplies at the beginning.

A survival mode has been already suggested plenty of times, and i think this aims in a similar direction...

Right, but the cave of ordeals ended after like a million depths. I can see OOO either making a progressive number of spawns until everyone lags to hell, or ending before anything gets hard. They need to fix monsters behaviorally before they start introducing "hardcore" stuff that is either hard because no one can afford to get experienced, or hard because no one's computer can run it.

Of course, if you just want an easy equivalent of this, go find a gate with lots of arenas.
