This suggestion already was here, but search here isn't the best one..

So it's better to have clear item rather than Gremlin Low on an Argent Peacemaker.

High FIVE!

Still, if you dont like it, get a new UV. And why would you just get rid of it. I mean ones better than nothin, right?

You can choose to not keep a UV when upgrading.

I don't see any reason to simply remove a UV from a weapon without getting anything back. If you're so desperate to get rid of it why don't you reroll at Punch?

My RSS has low vs Slimes and I embrace it.

Zeddy, one more punch will

Zeddy, one more punch will cost 20k cr and you are still able to get Beast Low on your pure elemental weapon instead of Gremlin Low.

The different way is to remove chance to get UV with damage bonus to monster family which resist damage type of weapon you punch:

• no gremlin/beast UV on elemental/normal+elemental damage weapons
• no slimes/construct UV on piercing/normal+piercing/elemental+piercing damage weapons
• no undead/fiend UV on shadow/normal+shadow damage weapons

etc.

._.

I'm not sure...

Really, this is a little lame. Could the devs focus on something a little more, um, substantial?

Today I ended up in a danger

Today I ended up in a danger room filled with slimes and a few construct turrets. It was a beast-themed floor so I'd only brought my Dark Briar Barrage and RSS with + low versus slimes.

I was very, very thankful for that + low versus slimes at the time. Made it out alive.

Well, you obviously threaten

Well, you obviously threaten him with THAT AP with a gremlin low against his face, and tell him to give you a new Uv for free

If you do get Gremlin MAX.... Do it to make him put free Uvs on Everything you have until you get good ones :D

My useless low UVs on 5* stuff just makes me depressed when i see it, and I can't afford to Punch it until i get something worthwhile :|
If you want to keep your troll UVs, that should be fine, but it would be nice if we could choose to take those UVs off for free.

i would

instead love to see a better description the gremlin low. like i would like to see/compare the actual damage and find how much damage does gremlin low give me.

compare if i dint have gremlin low to having it and see how much increase damage output that would give me an edge to not having it. i just want a clear info on my weapons than a vague gremlin low.

Damage depends on the level, you cant use actual numbers.

Wiki is friend ->

Wiki is friend -> http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Abilities

"Each level of bonus adds an average of 7% extra damage."

7% isn't really noticable so if you want to boost your damage, get Skolver, Shadowsun or Bombastic armors or spam trinkets.

Besides, who even need damage increase for specific monster types if your damage bonus is already maxed out. Shadowsun set + Elite Trueshot + Pure Gunner = Epic Win!

I do agree to this:
"• no gremlin/beast UV on elemental/normal+elemental damage weapons
• no slimes/construct UV on piercing/normal+piercing/elemental+piercing damage weapons
• no undead/fiend UV on shadow/normal+shadow damage weapons"

I'd like to see this feature too

If you guys really need a practical reason why this would help, I will offer one that gives me a headache.

Gathering wiki damage values is hard when you have undead and/or fiend UVs on shadow weapons.
I don't really want to get a second shadow driver because mine got an undead UV. I'm certainly not going to keep the UV when I upgrade. I'm not interested in spending 20K before I upgrade something just to get rid of a UV.

Meanwhile, I have to find fiends at all 12 of the specific depths that we need damage data for to finish the data table for fiends/undead.
Troll UVs are a wiki data damage gatherer's worst nightmare.

I also had to drag Callahan around through the whole clockworks to find slimes because I ended up with construct VH on it. Honestly, not the most useful weapon for lichenous lairs in tier three. If I could have wiped the construct UV off of it (even for a small fee) I could have at least hunted down gremlin/construct levels to get damage values.
