I do tier 2 runs and buy
I do tier 2 runs and buy recipes to sell at the AH. Also selling mat drops that I don't really need. It's slow going, but it works out in the end.

I grind ICMF because it's hilariously easy for me. (Ele Hood(heating), Vog Coat, Grey owl shiled)
I don't like RJP since I die at least twice each time through there, even with skolver/vog/BTS armor, and It gives roughly the same amount of crowns and heat, so...

Using Rise or Fall to farm crown is out-dated data. Arena in missions are modified - nerfed to oblivion - they are now extremely easy and gives poor crown/heat.
