Right, first. The reason i am posting this is because i am sick of the wolver sets but vog. Why you may ask? Because i find the sets overpowered, yeah that's right, overpowered. The reason is because of the damage bonus. Which until all the way till skolver and snarbolax sets, the bonus is low but it's much worse once crafted to those sets which it goes up to medium.

Yes, it may be useful in the clockworks but annoying as heck in lockdown. 90% of my deaths in lockdown are from people who use the wolver sets and those 10% sets are those that give shadow or elemental which most of the time, are not sets that give a damage bonus. You die/kill in 1-4 hits at most. However if someone uses any of those sets and any of the toothpick lines, (such as flourish) they can become near impossible to kill.

The vog set is compeletly fine in my opinion, it gives attack speed but not damage bonus.

Now, the way i think that this can be sorted is for the sets to be nerfed. Heres what i think is good for the set to have:

-Replace damage bonus with attack speed: Yes, it may make you attack faster but it will take more hits to kill your target. Which i find fair in LD.
-Keep the damage bonus and give the sets a penalty like The Fallen set has (damage penalty VS fiend): Any penalty for the sets should be fine but the penalty which i find fitting would be against damage, Shadow or Elemental or both. (Snarbolax set give shadow resist so elemental penatly should be fine for it)
-Ban them from LD if possible: i know this sounds crazy but i think some items should be banned from LD to give a fair match.
-Remove the damage bonus completely.

I know i will get hated or something because of this but seriously, this is my opinion on the wolver sets and ways to sort it out.

Hmmmmm

Agreed, but I really don't know if that is a problem. There are ways to counter Skolvers. Gunner Strikers with some skill can take care of them fairly easily. Just depends on your play style. And yes, as a swordsman in T3 LD, it is pretty dang hard to take the skilled (SKILLED) Skolvers out.

Wolver clones are far from impossible to kill in LD. Three out of four times if you got killed by skolver, you just got outplayed.

Skolver does not make a difference in the number of hits it takes to kill a heart pendantless enemy.

You can't just change skolver and snarby but not vog.

All class specific armors go from low to medium when they get to 5*, should they be banned too?

As of now, switches actually have the least variety when it comes to weapon bonuses. Two out of three compared to the gunners three out of three and the bombers two out of two. Changing skolver and snarby to ASI would further limit this.

It would also be bait and switch. Not a nerf but a complete alteration of how they work.

There are no negative damage resistances at all. Doing this would also require changing bomber and gunner sets to have negative resistances.

Removing the damage bonuses would make them inferior to all other armor sets due to their weaker defenses. This would also warrant removing all bonuses from all class armors.

Wolver Clones aren't hard to deal with at all. I can tear them apart while wearing Mercurial, because Lockdown is FAAAAR more skill focused then you seem to think it is.

In fact, ASI may end up being worse, because then you will keep getting hit by a full combo, staggered, and then hit by another full combo before you can swing back.

On their own, no armor/weapon/class/trinket seems overpowered. The issues arise when they are used together.
