uh

If ye're wearing swords, and always use striker mods, always bring Wolver/Dusker set.
I'm not sure if ye wanna gun people good and easy in T2, but always get Gunslinger set if ye wanna, note that there's no damage bonus.
Bombs? I forgot the 3-star stuffs for bomb set, but uh.. go for that one if ye see it? :x

I'm sure anything will do, actually.

^That.

Just use the armour meant for your weapon type. Simple.

Alternatively, use full Drake. Pierce defence for Flourishes; Ele defence for Hammers. Works quite well, I'm told, albeit at the cost of sacrificing offensive bonuses.

@Derpules: Now if only 'Family Damage Bonus' carried over to knight armours as well... then Drake Scale would be the most OP armour in LD, and everyone would spam Sealed Swords instead of Hammer, Flourish and Polaris.

:B

Best choice that isn't hard.

Get a twisted snarble barb for weapon 1, sealed sword for weapon 2 and if you have 2 trinket slots get 2 dual heart pendants. and get a dusker coat and a brute jelly helm. This is a great great choice for a striker.

^It's okay, but can easily be better.

1) It's actually cheaper to buy a pre-made Swift Flourish off the AH than to craft a Snarble Bar to 3*.
2) Much as I like jelly gear personally, there's no reason not to go full Dusker instead.
3) Use Tri-Hearts, not Dual-Hearts. Pretty simple. . . .

Sorry,

I disagree but jelly and dusker is great since you have great normal defense from dusker and great peirce defecnse with jelly and yea swift is easier to get. but, tri heart pendants are 2oo ce, too pricey just for 1 more little health bar more than double pendant.

In recent tests conducted by

In recent tests conducted by players, the actual effect of high defense in lockdown was found to be.... Incredibly underwhelming. Perhaps on the order of a 1 heart difference in damage for max vs no defense.

If the results for tier 2 are anything remotely like tier 3, then your survival chances would be better served by focusing on weapon bonuses or status resistance. It's definitely something that would benefit from player testing.

The extra pierce defence from Jelly has been proven to be worthless.
I fought against a Dusker and a Brute Jelly striker with a Flamberge.
Neither got proc'd for fire, and both went down in exactly the same number of hits.
The offensive bonus and freeze resist is far more useful than stun/sleep resist and a marginal amount of pierce defence.
Besides, that jelly isn't going to help you if you face off against someone with a Hammer. Or a Sealed Sword.
Or a Nightblade. Or an elemental Brandish. Or a Kamarin. Or an Alchemer. Or a Kilowatt Pulsar. Or -

You get the picture now.

Don't bother with Drake/Plate. You're slowing yourself down drastically without any decent protective bonuses.
A far better option would be Elemental Hood/Dusker Coat.
(I'd say Elemental Cloak/Dusker Cap as well, but that just looks ridiculous.)

Definately go for

Definately go for Dusker.

Defense does not make too much of a difference in ld, it's best to go for the damage bonus. However the pierce defense does help a little with flourishes, which are by far the most used swords. If you're really good at dodging attacks, you can also try a fencing jacket. It has pretty much 0 defense, but provides a Med Damage bonus for swords.

Gunning is Gunslinger generally, although a cyclops cap gives med damage bonus on guns, so it's plausible. Also consider a Seerus mask if you have OCH, it has ASI low and Ctr Med.

For bomber, I would recommend NOT using bomber gear. If your bombs are lvl 10, you have ctr med on them. If you go Recon, you get ctr vh on your bombs, so just by having lvl 10 bombs and being a recon you have CTR max. Instead, I would recommend keeping a gun as a sidearm and wearing gunslinger gear, or you could also wear swordie gear if you keep a sword with you while bombing (though be wary of the ASI penalty of being a recon)
