How to ACTUALLY FOR REALZ revive the Arcade

So there have been a lot of suggestions about how to do this and I admit that this needs to be done somehow.
Some people say "increase arcade profits"
Others say "Keep them from being replayable"
etc. etc.
Those ideas are just silly and don't make any sense.

The answer is very simple.
After you beat a mission the first time, the elevator costs are then doubled to 20. Or maybe just increased to 15.

That way, you can still play the mission if you want to, but it doesn't make sense if you are going for profit. Thus, you make the arcade more profitable than the missions without actually changing the arcade. But they are still just as profitable for your first run-through.

If you just want to go through all the missions once, you can still do it with no change in pricing.

If you want to play it again for fun, you can. It still would only cost 45-60 energy. It's not profitable for sure, but it's easily affordable, even for F2P players.

If you want to grind tokens, you can. Nobody is saying that once you do it once you can never do it again. It just costs more money, so some people can afford it and will still grind boss levels. However, the vast majority of players will find it much simpler to play through the arcade.

One other alternative is to increase the rate of drops in the arcade, but since I have no idea really how drops work than I don't want to comment on it.

Makes sense, but you gotta remember there's the people with elevator passes. I'm guessing the elevator cost increase for replaying the mission could override them maybe.

I respect your ideas but

I respect your ideas but calling the other things silly ideas its rude.If we had more chances like i post before and uprise the income(drops) will be helpful.For example many now go to Koa because its profitable did u see the market affected by this?No..so i think its not silly..Anyway the best solution for me would be to do only one time the missions!But that is impossible now.The missions should be like a tutorial and do it only one time..If the income of the arcade is not bigger than vana but same as Jk will not affect the market.Your idea of put more ce price on elevators is actually to avoid grinding right?Well the only reason we do missions is because we need more crowns(believe me its not so fun anymore if you do it everyday..).Actually you suggest no mission system..i dont think that anyone will do them if they are not profitable...Your plan would be good to erase mission system slowly..Because if you erase the system in a day the players will rage..!Anyway i think its very hard to effect now the mission system!Its a big change!But to effect the income its easier and remember they did it already one time with the vana run (sorry for my english)!

Ever since the missions came out it has been extrememly helpful for me to get easy crowns. For example FSC or JK . I mean seriously? I used to go to arcade for a run and wen i out of energy i only earn like 8 k . And each vana run also gives me 8 k but u have a chance to do it 2 times so each day i get like 16 k which is good. coz the price of ce is growing . So that means we can buy about 200 ce instead of going to arcade u can only have 100 ce once day. And this is my opinion.

This is a muliplayer game. Giving such harsh restricitons, makes me less likely to wan to help friends of lower rank.

Yes, obviously some people have elevator passes and can keep spamming missions for crowns. But most people will probably go back to the arcade.

@Sirzerox maybe you are not old enough in the game..I played months now and i m getting tired play the same missions...You will understand when the time passes unless you quit the game...(But we love this game thats why we staying and posting on the forums)

@Chalez You really think that they ll think effect the mission system?I would like to see that but i think its very hard..its too late to do such a big change..

Don't get me wrong

I'm a fan of the mission system, but it completely killed the clockworks. I went for a few dauntless runs since the missions, my party was unlocked the whole time, and I only ever got 2 people to join me randomly. It made me pretty sad ;_;

LOOK AT YOURSELF this is a TERRIBLE idea, you're basically stopping people from going to FSC EXCEPT (as you mentioned) the rich/p2p with elevator passes. Im not going to scold you but let me dumb down and shorten what Im saying.

the rich get richer,the poor get poorer

I'm not trying to balance the game between free to play and pay to play. I'm trying to come up with a system to make more people play the Arcade.

Perhaps elevator passes would not forgo this price..

let people do what they want

Just let ppl play how they want. If they wanna grind fsc all day then they can do it. It's really just about if u wanna play for the fun or for the profit. Soon I think ill have most of the stuff I need/want and I'm gonna be running clockworks a bit more regularly myself.

look this idea is unreasonable chalez and you know it. Obviously if you cut off vanaduke from the missions Tier 2 and 1 people are going to miraculously go back to the Arcade. all's this will do is p#ss off Endgame players causing a lot to quit.

you need to reward people for going to the arcade not force them like a dictator. increasing arcade payout is a much better idea,and you know it

you're idea also will dry the missions bare making it impossible to complete all of them since my friends wont be able to help anyone trying to do them.
