Wondering if i should stick to the WRH, Or craft the DA. Which would you go for?
Divine Avenger VS Warmaster Rocket Hammer...Which is better?
I have a sword guide that answers this question. Maybe it will help.

I find that generally, if the place you're going is primarily monsters that are weak to elemental, DA is a better bet since the charge will do horrible things to the big crowds. If the place you're going has elemental-weak monsters in a minority, like a gremlin level, the WRH is a better sidearm than the DA because the dash attack deals massive damage to single targets.
The exception is Legion of Almire. WRH will melt both slags/deadnaughts and almirian crusaders. Just remember to never use the second swing - first swing, dash, shield, first swing, dash, shield. The stupidly long cooldown on the second swing both defeats the weapon's high-speed playstyle and leaves you wide open to counterattacks, so don't use it.
It really depends on latency and how well you can handle the hammer. It's perfectly safe to use in FSC as long as you're capable of repositioning yourself in a way to avoid dashing into traps. I used to prefer Divine Avenger in FSC and arenas myself, but as I became more familiar with the rocket hammer I pretty much stopped using DA entirely.
WRH's high range and swing is annoying
maybe im the only one who does this but you can skip the dash entirely with a sheild cancel and go straight to the knockback of the third strike, maybe this is only useful to me as my hammer has asi high plus swiftly, but swing-shield-swing- swing and you do the first strike twice and skip the dash altogether. making the mobility an option REALLY increases the WRHs versatility making it my choice

If you want to save yourself get the divine avenger its the weapon that will not give you problems. and it deals greater knockback than the hammers swipe. Its an all around sword unlike the hammer since its pure elemental.
You might just be! The dash is the best part of the combo! I always skip the last hit because it leaves you exposed for roughly eight centuries.
i know, i love the hammers dash, i was just saying that the shield cancel allows a slow heavy feel to it. one place to use it would be arenas, when a 5 block dash isnt the best idea. and as far as the divine avenger being better b/c of the split damage i disagree. so many aspects of the hammer draw me to it, and as a full gunner not many swords do so i still say wrh(even if da charge kicks arse)
EDIT: 8 centurys doesnt feel as long with max asi :P
The fact that WRH is pure elemental, and DA is split normal+elemental, shouldn't matter. WRH doesn't really do more damage against constructs and undead, due to how damage is computed. The only real difference is that WRH does far less damage against gremlins and beasts. But if you're using either of these against gremlins or beasts, then you're not playing correctly.
One thing is for certain, I don't like using WMRH in Firestorm.
Dashing is not good when the room is filled with traps.
DA is defensive, Rocket hammers are major offense(DPS/High Risk).
Craft/Get both if you enjoy heavy swords, or switch to Brandishes.
