You would buy the Recipes for these shields for Krogmo Coins.
Strike Booster would retain all bonuses and have a 2 second sprint.
Guardian Shield would stay the same with no buffs or nerfs.
Recon Cloak would also stay the same but with a reduced cloak time. When the shield "pulses" enemies within the radius would start attacking randomly.

Tell me what you think! Dont hesitate to +1 or -1!

Getting the AI to adjust to

Getting the AI to adjust to the Recon Cloak would be more trouble than it's worth.
The Guardian Shield would be cool, but overpowered in bullet hell fights.
And the striker would kinda be a Handicap.

I'm sure with the upcoming combat update, though, there may be some changes to shields.
Maybe overlapping shields combining defenses and creating a larger area for protection or something.

I think there was a thread a while back about Missions that used the LD shields instead of the conventional ones and were based around their mechanics.
That seems like a more feasible idea because level designs based around the shield's functions would mean it wouldn't require every single enemy in the game be adjusted to their behaviours.

I like the idea of a Stealth Mission in the Clockworks where enemies that see you pop switches that activate trapped floors and monster spawns, or a Time Attack where you have to get to the end as fast as possible with a Striker Shield or it's GAME OVER. I'm not really sure what you would need a Guardian Shield for in the Clockworks, except maybe the dreaded escort mission. Maybe you have to protect someone/thing through a Gauntlet of Gun Puppies or something like that?

Either way, I feel like not using them in the PvE content is a wasted opportunity.
I just don't think treating them as normal items is the route they should take.

My worst fear is that this is a multiplayer game. Multiple guardians could basically mean immortality. And they heal..

They arent so special, we could live without them. Recon and striker are more unique.
