Fishies!
From what I see in SK, there are no fish! I mean really? No fish at all. So me and my friend composed an idea of turning snipes into fish.
1. We would need a container, a big one, as big as the Haven fountain. We would then need to enclose the top to give it some air.
2. In the bottom we put (whatever snipes eat) and the top has nothing else.
3. We then gather some snipes and hopefully they can swim (if not we teach them!)
4. We then enclose them in the container, the only way they can get food is to go the bottom and get it, the only air is above.
5. There is no way for a snipe to get out, so by then the snipe will realize and try to get food.
6. After a few hundred years or so, the snipes will adapt, grow gills and fins, then be able to live underwater.
7. We then make it mate with another snipe and try to create another fish snipe or make a hybrid, like a frog.
The end! tell me what you think, seriously this idea may seem silly, but I want fish snipes, maybe even a mini game of fishing for snipes!

Snipes are vampires!
From what I have seen, snipes could be evil vampires trying to take over Haven!
Theories
Snipes seem to always be around strangers, although some are free of them (Basil).
1. A snipe could make a suit (or steal one from Gremlins) and "wear" them and pretend to be a stranger. The snipe floats in the head socket to make the stranger appear to be standing, then use old tape recorders and record words we nights used, seriously! they only say 1 thing.

2. Snipes could suck the strangers blood, and force the strangers to sell cheap weapons and recipes to earn crowns and give them to the snipes in exchange to not get their blood sucked out of them! That is also why Snipes are in the AH next to stacks of crowns.

3. Because Haven is always in the daylight, the snipes can't turn into their furious vampire self and try to suck down our blood (or oil), which is why if there is night, the sky would we shot op with firecrackers all day to contain the snipes fury. The firecrackers would be shot into the air by Gm's and special knights.
That reason is also why I say "Don't let the snipes bite" when someone says they're about to sleep or I am :)
